House Freedom Caucus seeks swift Obamacare repeal

Members of the conservative House Freedom Caucus Monday night urged Republican Party leaders to swiftly schedule a vote to repeal Obamacare, a move that puts further strain on the already difficult effort to dismantle and replace the Affordable Care Act.

"There's no reason we shouldn't be able to pass this ASAP -- there's also no reason we should send anything less to President Trump's desk than we did Obama's," one GOP source familiar with the vote told CNN. "No need to reinvent the wheel."

The vote by Freedom Caucus members Monday night, confirmed to CNN by an aide, to press ahead on the repeal plan crystalized the frustration building up among conservative lawmakers unhappy with the delay in repealing Obamacare.

They have a point. If the bill was good enough to send to Obama in 2016 then it's good enough to send to President Trump in 2017.

Maybe they should not have voted for that leadership to start with?

Show vote so the fakers of the “Freedom Caucus” can look good while losing.

The GOP members all know Obamacare was designed to force everyone to buy insurance so the healthcare industry could be paid-bailed out protected from debt and business failure etc. etc.

The “Cadillac Health Care Plan Tax” also protects business in general by setting a cap on their healthcare expenses to the level where the tax kicks in. That gives them the excuse to force employees to pay more for healthcare once the cap on what they can pay before being taxed is reached.

Mitt Romney, who did the original Obamacare type system in Massachusetts, told folks when he ran for POTUS in 2012 that ‘freeloaders’ were showing up at hospitals.

That’s why there’s no repeal planned for now.

The special interests have to be protected and taken care of.

I believe that all the Republicans in both houses voted for the repeal that was sent to Obama. So all of them were fakers, not just the Freedom Caucus?

The trickery of such votes became apparent to me during the various votes over Planned Parenthood funding through the decades.

A very rich man now deceased in my area supported the local GOP members of Congress in the past, but he was also a very devoted supporter of Planned Parenthood.

The way it worked was....

Bill Clinton is POTUS.... GOP member votes for cutting PP funding knowing Clinton will veto

George W. Bush is POTUS.... GOP member votes to oppose cutting PP funding knowing Bush will sign it

Barack Obama is POTUS....GOP member votes for cutting PP funding knowing Obama will veto

They all knew Obama would veto repeal of Obamacare it but it made them all look good on Obamacare in time for the election.

I saw a picture of VP Pence meeting with the House Freedom Caucus, IIRC it was yesterday.

Now that Trump is POTUS the GOP leaders and most members can’t send him repeal of Obamacare with their special interest friends threatened by its repeal.

You might remember when O-Care first went through all but one GOP member opposed it and were able to look good on O-Care.

But the guy who supported it from the GOP was Congressman Cao from Louisiana who had won the Democrat New Orleans district for a short while in the wake of the Democrat Jefferson’s scandal downfall.

And now it's time to hold their feet to the fire and ensure that they do their job by repealing and not replacing.

“Exactly. The backstabbing GOPE leadership needs removed and replaced with true tea party conservatives. Enough with the foot dragging on cutting Taxes and repealing ObamaCare!”

Reince Priebus.
Neither of these issues is going forward unless he is ousted.
