"Trump Campaign Aides had Repeated Contacts with Russian Intelligence" Oh Really?
The New York Times ^ | February 14, 2017 | Michael S. Schmidt

WASHINGTON — Phone records and intercepted calls show that members of Donald J. Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and other Trump associates had repeated contacts with senior Russian intelligence officials in the year before the election, according to four current and former American officials.

American law enforcement and intelligence agencies intercepted the communications around the same time they were discovering evidence that Russia was trying to disrupt the presidential election by hacking into the Democratic National Committee, three of the officials said. The intelligence agencies then sought to learn whether the Trump campaign was colluding with the Russians on the hacking or other efforts to influence the election.

The officials interviewed in recent weeks said that, so far, they had seen no evidence of such cooperation.

The Shadow Government, AKA Seditious Government, is ratcheting up its efforts and doubling down.

Now they're going after Bannon and alleging that Trump campaign ads had repeated contact with Russian intelligence.

One wonders - if he's especially sarcastic: "Just where is the media getting all this information on matters that are normally classified?"

All of the current and former officials spoke on the condition of anonymity because the continuing investigation is classified.

And that ends any interest I would have had in this article. This indicates it is nothing but a hit piece on President Trump.

The CIA at the behest of the Obama Administration spied on the Trump campaign to protect the DNC.

Meddling with an election.

So issue a subpoena for the “ 4 current and former officials” to appear before the Senate intelligence Subcommittee

With transcripts for all

Let the games begin
In fact let’s broaden the investigation to,all, foreign contacts with all political candidates

Was spying on campaign officials limited ONLY to calls with Russian contacts?

If not, how much other information was passed directly to the Hillary! campaign? How would that be different than Watergate?

There were Trump supporters predicting the day after the election that we would see impeachment hearings in 2017. The left made their mind up to find something or create it themselves.

I think they're trying to knife the boss before he can get into position to expose their war crimes around the world. I smell a Morell under his invisibility cloak.

It's worth noting that all the stories about Russians allegedly "hacking into the DNC" only came out after Hillary Clinton lost the election. There are only two plausible reasons for this:

1. The stories are completely false.

2. If the stories came out before the election, voters would justifiably wonder if Hillary Clinton was a completely compromised candidate who would be subject to blackmail by the Russians ... or even by Obama administration operatives.

Democrats and their media collaborators can decide which of these is true.

It bothers me a great deal that the Trump administration has yet to go on the offensive and bring this shit to a halt and tweets ain’t hackin’ it.

First Robin Townley, then Flynn, now Bannon is in their sights and the administration looks like it’s playing rope-a-dope.

Agree. There needs to be a counterpunch and soon or else this story will be considered “legit”.
