Might be a small part of it, but the Flynn thing is not the kind of thing that makes people willing to take a high profile high stress position. Just the mere perception (true or not) that Trump didn’t steadfastly back Flynn is going to potentially be a problem.
Trump can’t do that one again, you’d better make damn sure that you got the right people NOW.
I hope he doesn’t. I know nothing about him, but I know the left. The more successes they have in smearing the members of the Trump Administration, current and potential, the more material they have to go after Trump himself - all on flimsy issues like this one.
The GOP needs to learn to behave more like the left. Barny BJ Franks did not back down after his affairs with Congressional Pages. Clinton did not resign after being exposed as a rapist and serial sexual predator. A number of Congressmen are sill sitting in office after income tax evasion. Ted the Swimmer Kennedy became a leading light of the “feminist” Democrat Party.
If you give up hills that aren’t worth fighting for, eventually you wind up with no hills left at all.
The GOP should surprise everyone, GROW A SET, refuse to back down to the barking dogs in the leftist media and action groups, GET USED TO THE SOUND OF THEIR YAPPING, IGNORE THEM, and PLOW ON TO IMPLEMENT THE AGENDA WHICH GOT TRUMP ELECTED.
Damn those democrats. First Flynn. Now Puzder. Who will they get next?

This was a Reince Priebus idea..... Andy Puzder is a Globalist. The fact that Reince Priebus was pushing Andy. I’m glad he is out.
I had criticized the pick of Puzder at the the time, but I found out just recently that he’s very pro-life. I know that’s not related to his job, but I think that speaks to his character. The Democrats were opposed to him as well, so he had to be doing something right.
At this point, the Democrats (and GOPe) are doing every thing they can to stymie the Trump agenda. He would be better off bypassing the confirmation process and establish a “board of directors” and conduct business.
BTW, he’s got to get rid of the half breed’s people - ALL OF THEM.

If you’re a leader who is getting tough on illegal aliens, it does not pay to have somebody in your cabinet with a history of hiring one or more illegal aliens. Period.
Sometimes by taking a step back you can see a better path to victory

With Puzder’s withdrawal, the GOP rebel Senators seem to be emboldened. Now, the OMB nominee Rick Mulvaney seems at risk, too. McCain has declared he will vote against him and Thad Cochran is unsure. We could have another situation where Pence will have to come in to break a tie.
I’m not a Puzder fan, but these leaks and media attacks need to get KO’ed and fast.
