I don’t think I currently know any demonrats. Their proximity makes my gorge to rise.
Ordinary democrats are committing all of the anti Trump violence. So I reckon they feel great about it.
Some of them took it pretty well (one shrugged it off and got over it right away). My uncle doesn’t like Trump but agrees with him on some issues. Aunt is terrified though.
I’ll toss this out again.
Pres. Trump needs to take to the bully pulpit at every opportunity to SAY out loud that the unhinged left is driving the left-leaning populace into his court. The press will sputter and deny and say that he has no evidence of that. But the truth is that he doesn’t need evidence; he simply needs to say it over and over. If the press decides to poll the claim, the answer is simple: the polls predicted miserably that I would lose.
As a husband,parent and former pastor, I discovered that people need to hear you SAY and REPEAT that you love them. Surprisingly, in my experience, simply doing good for them is not enough. They will accept your failings far more readily if you repeat that you love them.
I believe that is the way Mr. Trump will pull people over to his side. by SAYING that they are being hurt by the left and that they have a home in the center with him.
About the same as Muslims do when radical Muslims act out.

Lots of liberals on YouTube are abandoning the left for these reasons.

I think that Democrats have a knee jerk reaction to anything that is against Republicans. I don’t talk to people who are Democrats except in passing, and that includes family. Frankly, if they are willing to crawl into the shit pile with the left, I don’t need them in my life. I have yet to meet anyone on the left that I could converse with on an intelligent level. Every one is sophomoric at best, mentally inept at worse.
They’re not. That’s the problem.
When pressed, most will denounce the violence.
But they would rather insult Trump than criticize their own.
And if that doesn't work, they'll try to justify it by claiming that Trump is such a Nazi that he has to be stopped by any means possible.
I’d guess maybe 1 in 3 Democrats are ideologues who are still in denial and viscerally upset about Trump. The other 2/3 mostly don’t like him any more than we liked Obama but they have accepted the reality and are just going on with life.

I disowned a brother-in-law, a mother-in-law and 3 step sisters. Fortunately, I retired at 53 and I am not required to work, so I no longer knowingly speak to ANY democrat. I am now 68 and I have been democrat free for about 15 years. Life is good.
theyre doing what they usually do... following the flock! If im wrong we would have heard some speaking out against it by now.
The ones I know all seem to think the violence and hate crimes is perpetrated exclusively by Trump supporters. They HATE Trump and Trump supporters. Not disagree, hate. There seems only different levels of violence they are willing to commit.
I’ve always liked Trump the person but I voted for him because of his positions on the issues. If Clinton and Trump had reversed positions I’d have voted for Clinton.
Too much arguing now is centered around Trump the person and not what the country needs.
All the Democrats in my life has pretty much lost their freakin’ minds. I’ve never seen anything like it. Some have even purposely discontinued long-time friendships.
My mother-in-law, who is a blatant racist who frequently used the N-word, now has called Trump racist and thinks he’s evil for not letting in nuts from terrorist, primarily black countries.
About the same as Muslims responding to Islamic terror.
The ones I know don’t acknowledge any anti-Trump violence. They say they are very happy with the peaceful demonstrations taking place - it’s a wonderful demonstration of democracy in action. They seem to think that all hatred and violence come from Trump supporters.
