Thursday following President Donald Trump’s press conference to announce his pick for Labor Secretary, Alexander Acosta, conservative talker Rush Limbaugh applauded Trump’s performance on his nationally syndicated radio show.
Limbaugh while the media still won’t warm up to Trump, it was what his supporters wanted to see, which was a willingness to tout his achievements and take on some of the claims from the media.

President Trump gets an A+ for an excellent, extremely effective press conference.
And this was with the media trying to sabotage him.

The Democrats and media will never figure out that their hysteria will result in more Trump voters.
I was stuck in my car for an hour —couldn’t stop listening.
It was the greatest press conference I’ve ever seen. This country has been waiting 200 years for a President with the guts to stand up and say exactly what Trump said today.
If the Gipper was “The Great Communicator”, The Donald is “The Supreme Communicator”.
This was a masterpiece. He told the media what they should be doing and wasn’t nasty about it. He even had the press laughing at CNN.
No teleprompter and no earbud to his minders. In fact, I’ll bet he doesn’t have minders like that other guy, Wasshisname.
This guy is a master.

Yes indeed! The modern press cannot be professional, but thinks it is it’s duty to bring down Trump.

Rush used the word "improv" to describe Trump's style. That's exactly what Trump does, and he's extraordinarily good at it. He sneaks these little comments in that are hilarious, but you have to listen carefully. Trump is a statesman, orator and stand up comic - all in one!

I agree. President Trump was brilliant. I wish all Americans could watch it.
It will be interesting to see how the mainstream media twists and smears it.

The defining moment to me was when Trump told the room what their headlines would be> that he was ranting about the press—and that they wouldn’t headliine any of the real issues or things he tallked about that were actions on behalf of the country..
The press conference was hardly over when the first reports on the internet sites of the MSM were exactly about the ‘rant’ on the press.
It’s all about them, not about the good things for the country.
Recall, the other guy would panic if the teleprompter went awry. The other guy NEVER, or maybe only a couple times answered contentious questions with multiple, disbelieving folloup questions. The other guy, in 8 years, never had the hostility Trump has had in the first month.

Me neither. I am a reporter for a small community paper and was supposed to be working on a city council report, but I could not turn off the t.v.
It was incredible!
