Chuck Todd said that its not funny to have the President delegitimatize the press. I think the press did that. Trump is just pointing it out.
There are several members of the press who think they are doing their job well. I don’t always agree. But lets say they are. While they may be annoyed at people who dislike them or call them out. Its does not lesson the fact that many of the press are not doing an honest job. They are not trying to be partial.
Obama controlled the press. And the press let him do it. So there is no reason to think that Trump should not expect the same.

I am still at work here on the left coast. I am laughing my ass off while I read these excerpts. I am having a hard time laughing quietly. I am surrounded by Trump haters. I cannot wait to get home and turn on the TV.
After 8 years of a tingle up their legs non-adversarial press, all I can say is they brought this on themselves.
And while I was watching this, I kept thinking. Hillary went nine months without a press conference while running for President. And here is Trump giving these guys an hour. And letting CNN, BBC, and The New York Times ask questions. And he answered them. He did not evade anyone. They never got that from Obama. And they certainly never got that from Hillary.
