The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 55% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-five percent (45%) disapprove.
The latest figures include 39% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 37% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of +2. (see trends).

For way too long (decades) the media was told that they were to "interpret and shape" the news. They began to believe that THEY determined policy.
Trump is now setting them straight!
When you consider that Trump gets ONLY negative MSM coverage this is amazing.
If Donald Trump found a cure for all the ills and diseases in society, the mass media would lead with the headline: Trump fires medical professionals.
The MSM would throw another tantrum. “What took him so long to cure all diseases?!?!?!” ;)

Exactly. Chuck Todd yesterday accused President Trump of “delegitimizing” the media. I had to laugh. No institution has done more to Delegitimize the media than the media itself. Todd beclowns himself with such rubbish.
It’s pure venom that comes over the airwaves and in print, 24/7. The public has tuned the media out and dismisses the press in general as completely discredited after having crowned crooked Hillary as the next president. As President Trump pointed out yesterday, that’s why no one believes the media anymore. Their credibility is shot full of holes, with no end in sight.
BTW, I'm not purposely following Trump. He just happened to schedule these appearances during my vacation. Very nice of him, I might add. I was passing through D.C. yesterday just as he was giving his press conference.
Anyway, I think the media have totally shot their wad and Americans are finally coming to realize that they are nothing but a bunch of Leftists who will lie and say anything to make the conservative look bad. I expect Trump to be north of 60 per cent favorable once he gets through this weekend of appearances, surrounded by thousands and thousands of real people who support him.

Couldn’t agree more. The incessant attacks on Trump have only backfired on the media. They’re just too stupid to realize that, with Trump, they’re not dealing with your typical scripted politician. He’s completely rewritten the rules of politics — conventional wisdom is out the window — and the media just hates it that he’s keeping every single one of his campaign promises.
If Trump got the same treatment as Obama did, he’d have 90% approval ratings.
Thank you! This cannot be said nearly enough every time that the media complains. They have dug their own graves and The President is just dumping the dirt on them now.
