Speaking of Richard and Gene, Richard tells a funny story about when Gene and Richard visited the Arizona State Penitentiary during the filming of “Stir Crazy”.....
“Gene Wilder loved to jump in the middle and start talking to the killers. Saying ‘Hi guys, how ya doing?’. I said, ‘Gene, bring your ass out of there.’. He said ‘What do you think they would do to us if we were here Rich?’. I said ‘____ us.’ And Gene said ‘I’m not homosexual!’ ‘Homosexual ain’t go nothing to do with it. They don’t ____ you ‘cause you like it. They just ____ you just to see that look on your face.’.”
And have no clue as to the reasons why racism even exists never considering that there may be a valid basis for its existence. There are racial stereotypes because they do exist. Anyone who denies this has their head buried in the sand. People don't like racism when they fall under the stereotype and exhibit those traits, even white people. I just say get over it. If your skin is that thin you need a diaper.
Every language and even patois, have their own grammar and vocabulary rules. There's nothing at all "racist" about it. these people are insane!

I’m fluent in two languages and can get by with a few others. They can’t even master the English language.
I remember way back before that, when I was a child, that they were trying to get “Ebonics” taught in public schools to legitimize this bastardization of the English language. That was back in the early-to-mid 1970’s, after the word “Ebonics” was created in 1973. Fortunately, that died a rapid death among sane people.
Ax me about ebonics.

I first heard this “teaching proper English is racist” stuff back when I was in college, c. 1968-1973. To me, that claim was itself racist, because it seemed based on the premise that it was futile to try to teach proper English to blacks, who were presumably too stupid to learn. We’ve seen the results of this racist progressive mentality, with blacks lagging behind even recent immigrants in language skills.
Good thing local rappers can come to the college and teach students proper language. < /sarc >
Ebonics was simply a scheme to pass black students unable to speak proper English.
“White privilege” includes speaking proper English; the envy of those who can’t will never disappear (and they certainly aren’t rectifying the situation on their own). There is real job security when many co-workers can’t draft a coherent email; I’m also surprised by how many can’t print clearly (never mind spelling or writing in cursive).
In Living Color was absolutely brilliant. They skewered everyone and everything. Unlike the dreck that is Saturday Night Live, the only agenda ILC had was to make people laugh and entertain them.
