Okay, this needs to be stated for the record . . . though I am not crazy about it.
As a youth I was molested by three different men on various occasions . . . one a baby-sitter, the other a guy that drank at the same bar as my parents, another a photographer for movie trailers.
Somehow, contrary to this guys opinion, I DID NOT turn out to be a flaming homosexual that dresses like Marie Antoinette.
In fact, in my early twenties I met another man who I fell deeply in love with and have been with him now over 40 years . . . His name is Jesus Christ.
How in the world am I not under the spell of Sodom Syndrome?
This “milo” thing and his supporters (before and after the news) just proves the point that most “conservatives” are in fact closet leftists. Most (many??) freepers are humanist leftists.
There is no such thing as the conservative movement. They are all a bunch of sell out hacks.

I had a couple close encounters when young, but avoided turning to the homosexual lifestyle. Others do.
It’s that simple, I think.

Consider yourself blessed, and NOT typical of most abused children.
The Stockholm syndrome is real. Those of youth have not developed the where withal to resist it and are most vulnerable. They are victims to be pitied.
Adults that succumb to the Stockholm syndrome are those that have no inner character of strength and experience. In effect they are but youth as was Patty Hearst. She was really an innocent victim due to lack of inner character. Her weakness should be laid at the feet of her parents. They failed her.
A person subjected to Stockholm syndrome as was Patty Hearst, and it was brutal to Patty Hearst, upon freedom if strong with values would be obsessed with killing her tormentors. This is how one recovers dignity and self worth. It is against the law but it is moral.
She should have never spent one day in jail. Her tormentors should have been tried and executed and Patty Hearst should have pulled the switch of death. She was a victim, but weak.
In the reading of this, and I thought it was a good piece, I thought of the attempt to squelch so-called reprogramming centers.
In a climate where so many children were reprogrammed through vile catastrophic acts of brutal violent anal rape, it is considered by some to be abuse to reach a caring hand out to the victims to return them to normalcy.
There are many wonderful things in this world, but there are some things that are absolute hellish, and wicked beyond belief.
Reaching out to help homosexuals should be supported by our national community, and never blocked.
A person wanting help should always be able to find it.
Not to mention the Church, which should have the ready spiritual resources needed to heal and support these victims.
People’s minds do no react the same to traumatic events.
Be thankful. Be understanding of those whose minds melted down.

A use leaves it’s mark. Syndrome ? Call it what you want. It ruins the child’s life.
I agree with that.
I would like to think there is a well renowned place where those desiring healing could referred to be dealt with by very capable caring people.
I’m not convinced ever church could handle this properly with their in-house talent.
That’s not a dig at churches either.
This is a specialized problem and needs well trained Christian people to help on the path back.
Ryan Sorba, who now works in Scott Lively’s ministry, Abiding Truth Ministries, has done a sort of O’Keefe-style undercover montage of relaxed homosexuals discussing their own victimization as children, and exploits on other minors. It was an eye opener. Most of the candid conversations were filmed inside and outside homosexual haunts, mostly bars. It was amazing how many admitted to being sexually molested as children or young teens. Many admitted or suggested that they did the same as adults TO minors. I wish I had a ready link, but its should be easy enough to find.

A really proportion of homosexuals were abused as children. It seems to be the case that a person if caught at the right age and state of psychological vulnerability, can be essentially “turned gay”.

Amen, my brother. This has been my prayer for Milo as well. He is a child of God who has enormous power but lacks the touch of Christ’s restoration. I do not believe he scorns salvation, only that he has not been touched.
