Trump Leak Now Points To Bezos’ Hidden $600M Deal With Obama CIA To Feed Washington Post
Conservative Daily Post ^ | Feb 24, 2017 | Donna Kay

When writing the 1st Amendment to the Constitution, one area of speech the Founders were specifically interested in protecting was that of a free press. They saw the press as a sort of fourth branch of government, one that would keep the “checks and balances” of the other three branches honest.

However, over time the same press that was given protection has eroded into a propaganda machine driven by money and political agendas of those who own the media outlets. They have crawled into bed with the very entities they are to keep in “check” and bust out if corrupted.

As such is the Mainstream Media today and one the American people no longer trust, and rightfully so given what is being exposed in recent years.

The majority of people do not know Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos purchased the Washington Post and is now the sole owner with no editorial board or ethical review committees to oversee the actions of Bezos as a publisher, much less the courage to stand against the new “boss.”

It begs to question: How is Bezos connected to questionable intelligence leaks in recent months?

What does he have to do with the sudden disruption of web services that kept millions from accessing whistle blowing website, WikiLeaks, during its explosive releases of state department cables?

I remember this ‘partnership’ being posted a lot right after the election, and wondered if we’d be seeing it soon. Had to cross their Is and dot those Ts before presenting the charge, I suppose.

Seems like Obama, Bezos, some CIA clones and the Washington Post all need to be charged with espionage against the United States.

If that were to be in the cards, Jeff Sessions would be just the one to get it done.

Yes, it’s been kept a little in the dark but now seems to be coming to the surface.

It’s supposed to be a felony for the CIA to be involved in domestic affairs.

Prosecute treason.

A CIA contract for $600 million to do what?

This guy bought the Washington Compost to help Hillary get elected.

Oops! That didn't work out so good.

I don’t read newspapers. Everyone of them is owned by the liberals. Even our small newspaper here is owned by the NY Slimes. Small southern newspaper in a town of 21,000 and a county of 115,000 here in NE Alabama owned by a NY liberal slimes group. Go figure. That is why it is known locally as the Anniston RED Star instead of the Anniston Star. They call and beg you to take the paper. You get free ones tossed into your drive way all the time, hoping you will take. One guy stopped and offered us a six month subscription for the price of one month!!!! Anything to get money into a dying newspaper. Nobody takes the stinking thing anymore. I pray for the day they have to nail the door shut on the stinking mob. The editor of the thing writes pro-Obama all the time. He would kiss Obama’s skinny butt on Times Square if he could get an appointment. Everyone around here wishes he’d drop off the face of the planet. Hopefully, any day now, the place will close down.

The press has always been biased. Newspapers were started as political mouthpieces. But now we have the internet to help level the playing field.

The "press" is no longer "free" when money changes hands.

Col. W. Patrick Lang, who had a long career in the intelligence community, said last week in an off-handed comment on his blog that he has known WP’s David Ignatius for over 30 years and said Ignatius is fully-owned by the CIA.

Maybe this is why Pompeo got the job: he’s deeply versed in CIA white and black budgets and could break this sweetheart deal up the fastest.

They saw the press as a sort of fourth branch of government, one that would keep the "checks and balances" of the other three branches honest.

Somebody got a cite for that? I think this is "fake history." What the founders didn't want was government controlled press. I doubt they saw the press as having any sort of quasi-governmental function. Keeping the government in check falls to the people. The press isn't anything special now, and wasn't then.

Some sort of cloud-based services.

Yes, it smells to high heaven.

Now there is a concurrent story about how CIA has been caught leaking to WAPO.

It’s supposed to be a felony for the CIA to be involved in domestic affairs.

Your diligent Uniparty passed legislation to allow Mordor on the Potomac to issue domestic propaganda.

And it just goes to show how deep and how foul the cesspool is that is liberalism and its fellow travelers.

It’s no wonder our culture is being vandalized from within, what with all these smokey-room, Mephistophelean deals.

I would love to see evidence - any evidence - that the Founding Fathers considered the press to be a “fourth branch of government”.

For if they truly did, then what checks and balances do the Constitution place on that “fourth branch”?

If a presstitute takes money from the government they become a defacto employee by extension, as a contractor and their 1st Amendment protection is gone.

Prosecutable actions for an ordinary citizen should take place.
