Trump told Breitbart News in an exclusive Oval Office interview that the “intent” of the New York Times in its negative coverage of him is “so evil and so bad” and that “they write lies.” “If you read the New York Times, if you read the New York Times, it’s—the intent is so evil and so bad,” President Trump said in the interview on Monday afternoon. “The stories are wrong in many cases, but it’s the overall intent. Look at that paper over the last two years. In fact, they had to write a letter of essentially apology to their subscribers because they got the election so wrong.”
He went on to say about the newspaper that “they write lies.”

Thank you President Trump. Perhaps now people will wake up to the realization that the Times has lost whatever respectability it once had, and become just another sleazy tabloid.

People may think he is going over the top, but think of the damage the press like the NY Times does to this country and the rest of the world. I believe the NY Times was the paper that warned Castro of the Bay of pigs invasion. Right there the editors and owners should have been arrested for treason. That’s 56 years that people have been living under a dictatorship because of that.

I recall doing a systematic evaluation of Newspaper articles on political matters in regards the ‘politicians are all the same’ argument. The NYT was one of the nearly score of papers I tracked. While bias was expected, I was astounded at how they would selectively edit things, and often provide only the Democrat description of what the Republicans were saying without any quotations at all for the other side. Hearings that there were transcripts of, were ended when the relevant response came and the next words completely dismantled the point of the article.
Just awful.

He talks exactly the way I talk to friends who are conservative and know this. "It is so evil and intentional" are words I've expressed almost verbatim hundreds of times ... it's how we all think about it.

The NY Times is much worse than a sleazy tabloid. They are a propaganda arm for anyone and everyone who is an enemy of the United States. Have been for a long time.

the biased coverage against Israel generally (reaching all the way back to the abysmal lack of coverage of the Holocaust — finally mentioning it only on page 27...)
the biased coverage given to any and all Republicans
the biased coverage of race relations (to include Trayvon Martin, Sharpton, the Duke lacrosse team, Ferguson, etc.)

There is a game of chess being played behind the scenes. He must have reasons for not saying explicitly, but Trump clearly is implying a lot in those comments and his other remarks recently.
I suspect that the NYT will be one the of the key players working with deep state, Obama and Soros to launch a violent coup against our elected president.

The NYT was the paper that said everything was fine in Ukraine during the 1930’s.
It was proven later that the NYTs knew that 30 million were being starved to death during that time. Ukraine was and is one of the very few true breadbaskets of the world.
