Wow ... I did not see that happening.
Welcome to the volunteer military. This should surprise nobody...all because males like those in the Romney, Burr & Sununu families don’t want to serve in the military. The Modern Romans.
There are no excuses for pregnancies in this day and age. There are all types of birth control. Both parties should be kicked out of the service, dishonorably, for being damn stupid.
I wonder what the rate will be if there’s ever a real war situation, like a world war.
My oldest boy is in the Marine Corps and said most women should never have graduated boot camp at Parris Island when he was there, and the women he sees now are for the most part useless.
He is in a combat unit.
Saying this women should serve, but to put them on ships, then they get pregnant, and then they get back to port where they cannot deploy anymore due to their pregnancy, and are given a desk job takes away from the man power needed.
Perform DNA test on the baby. If the father is a crew member kick both of them out of the Navy, unless there was a rape involved. In case of rape, the man goes to Leavenworth.
### dammit!! I can’t get a post on here before someone else posts what I wanted to say!!!
Three times in two days!!
It’s the fault of Russian spies that those female sailors meet while on shore leave.
I soon half expect to read this in the main stream media.
Concur. That was my first thought after reading the article. One strike and you are OUT!
Be a fun time to hang around navy bases and troll for woman sailors.
Birth control fails. No method other than abstinence is 100% guaranteed.
I’ve heard, someone correct me if I’m wrong, that sexual activity in the ranks/fraternization, etc. is against military regulations.
So, if that’s true, a pregnant girl by definition has violated military regulations. And so is the one who got her in that condition.
Or is sexual activity really not against regulations?
And I don’t want to just blame the female, because for every pregnancy a man had to be involved, and he too needs to face the consequences.
Do we have to be “politically correct” in military policies? If there is incentive to get pregnant to get off the ship, then change the policy so people don’t do that anymore.
My son told me that the aircraft carriers have full blown prostitution rings on board. He just got out a couple of years ago.
It’s the seaman curse.
just ANOTHER LIBTARD pc program doomed to fail from inception....
He wears a condemn and she takes the pill.
Getting pregnant would be very difficult.
Women soldiers will say to themselves, “I could die any day, so I’d better not have any fun before that”.
When I was assigned to the USS ENTERPRISE nearly half of the junior enlisted females got pregnant before deployment. Now the Navy wants to put them on submarines. The problem is magnified on a submarine, when a trained crew member cant make deployment, they have to borrow from another boat.
Um, what if the male is shore based, civilian even? A married couple who’ve been trying to conceive for some time....?
Are they implying that all the pregnancies are due to shipboard dalliances?
If so, then I agree with you. If not....
ROTFL! Can’t say we didn’t tell them so. You can’t fix stupid.
