Frigging in the rigging. Get pregnant and get off the ship... It’s a strategy. And the Gov’t made it happen, pays for it, Bing bam boom... effectiveness suffers.

Are they implying that all the pregnancies are due to shipboard dalliances? All female sailors take a pregnancy test prior to deployment. Problem is, this still leaves about a 30 day or so window after they've taken the test and before they deploy when they can get pregnant.

A friend of my daughter’s - very attractive young woman - went into the Navy after graduation. I’m sure every straight male within sniffing distance was after her. Haven’t heard if she’s riding the pregnancy express though.

It has been my observation that if the woman is attractive and capable, they end up on staff. I admit that it is completely sexist, but 0-6’s and higher tend to have the prettier non-coms on their staff.
