San Francisco has taken its defiance of the feds to a new level, ending its cooperation with the FBI in an anti-terror initiative begun after 9/11 - a move crtitics say could get innocent people killed.
Critics say the sanctuary city by the bay's latest decision to forego cooperation with Washington, by dropping out of the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force, could put lives at risk. The JTTF has been credited with foiling 93 Islamist terrorist attacks and plots against the U.S. since 2001, including 12 this year, according to the Washington, D.C.-based Heritage Foundation. There are another 1,000 investigations into suspected terror activity nationwide.
These staggering statistics make the recent decision by the San Francisco police department to end the citys partnership with the JTTF, at the behest of local activist groups that alleged Arabs and Muslims are wrongly targeted by the FBI and will be more so under the Trump administration, all the more concerning, said retired federal law enforcement officials.
There is less chance of uncovering networks, plots, missing pieces of a puzzle, without cities participating in the JTTF."

I sure wouldn’t be taking any trips to San Francisco in the future. Your heart might not be the only thing you leave there. Your head and other body parts could end up being permanent residents there.
Any company or group that schedules a meeting in this evil city could end up with some huge legal battles.
If any of their people while in Frisco get hurt or killed by an Illegal Alien or a terrorist or any of the thugs below.
Besides tourists are targets for harrassment by the so called unemployed, SJW’s, La Raza thugs and anti Trump thugs.
Simply cut off their funds, and still make ICE and FBI arrests without local help.
When some major disaster happens there (actually, how would anyone notice or know the difference from typical daily San Francisco life) the answer is very simple: “Gee, what a shame... If we had the cooperation of the SFPD, this could have been prevented, but .... Gee, what a shame....”
That is a sub-policy to San Francisco's overall policy of withdrawal from intelligence and rationality in general.
Off the Wall Ping!
Contact to be added.
When the next jihadi attack happens in SF, they are entirely on their own then. Let them wallow in diversity and inclusiveness.
And if and when they get hit...charge the government employees who made this decision as an accessory.
Imagine what FDR would have done with “San Francisco withdraws docking rights from US Navy, 1942”
Trump needs to be bold.
I’ll never forget Kate Steinle’s last words to her father as she was shot and lay dying on a San Francisco pier at the hands of a sanctuary city illegal criminal. “Help me, Daddy.”
San Francisco city, city of Gay, illegals, terrorist, drugs and anti kids and soda.
Leftists have a deathwish for others.
They should call this the Ground Zero Initiative.
If you think about it, the terrorist wouldn’t want to go there,,,it’s too easy...they want to show they can successfully attack in an area that is watching out for them...It is however a capitulation to Islamic based terrorism...those people seem to only care about feeling good in the moment....and there is enough old school and even new school warnings about the low longevity risks in that subpopulation.
Show of hands: who doesn’t think the world would end if San Fran went up in smoke?
Amen, very sad as well as criminal by Frisco’s bureaucrats.
Notice to all Jihadis - San Fran is the place to be.
This is a big deal. I think this is going to a big turning point. This is literally choosing sides. San Francisco has made it an official policy that protecting their illegal residents from federal law enforcement is more important than protecting the safety of their legal citizens.
