Flashback: Obama signs warrantless-wiretapping bill into law

President Barack Obama signed the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act bill into law yesterday after the U.S. Senate voted for an extension of the President George W. Bush-era spy bill 73-23.

The FISA bill gives the government clearance to tap into American citizens’ communications with people outside of the U.S. without a warrant, so long as it is done in the name of collecting foreign intelligence. Obama has previously stated his approval of the bill, saying that the U.S. needs such measures when dealing with national security. More specifically, it means that government entities such as the National Security Agency are able to watch Americans without probable cause. They need only an order from the secret FISA court, and they don’t have to alert the targeted citizen prior to the wiretapping.

Interesting...

Perhaps more concerning is the fact that the surveillance can begin before an order is received and can continue through an appeals process should the court decide not to issue the order, as Wired notes.

Ok so.. they apply for a warrant with FISA in june and were turned down. Then in October they appealed (diffrent then FISA court) an got a warrant ... the appeals court was three Clinton appointed judges...

Now if during that gap beween june and oct they were taping.

And there is suggestion from Hillary tweets that she had some information concerning it even before Oct

Because I guess evidence that was collected pending the appeal could not be used in Court. But its does not stop illegal use of the information for political reasons

Really this let someone start a tap with no warrant.

And even if you never get a warrant approved that just means what you collect can’t be used in court ...

But it does not stop them illegally using it for political purposes. Just like they did with flynn

So that means under this law, Obama started surveillance of Trump in June, sent the order to the FISA court, was denied, then kept up the surveillance throughout the "appeal process" until October, when a FISA approved a re-written surveillance request that supposedly did not have the name "Trump" in it.

No "Trump" name in the October order, except for the location in "Trump Tower."

It's amazing, isn't it? We live in a police state. No doubt about it. But I'm ready to stop fighting like a girl. Trump needs to completely blanket surveil every single subversive organization being funded by Soros, as well as Obama's OFA 2 blocks from the WH. Do it today. This has to stop.

I think you are on to something - I was wondering about the judges that okayed the request.

The only reason they got the second FISA warrant was because they made the two Russian banks the subject of the inquiry. Then a warrantless wiretap could be put in place without PROBABLE CAUSE even. They could listen to Trump Tower til the cows came home under the guise of investigating the Russian banks.

Really the legal or illegal tap may be irrelevant and the red herring to avoid

We are dealing with lawyers that at the very end would have done something anything to make a tentatively case that they were legal just for cya in case the lost the election

No the REAL thing we must follow is.. how was the information use...that the key!

Do not get side track with Obama and his people arguing whether the tap was legal or illegal that’s a red herring they’re counting on to lawyer up for years ....no! Avoid that argument its a Trap

Go straight to the meat of the matter....... was the information used in The Campaign against Trump... which is definitely illegal !!!!

We know in flynn case Intel may have been legally gathered but illegally used for political reasons ...same here

From

http://lamecherry.blogspot.com/2017/03/actionable-intelligence-for-president.html

There was a puzzling reversal from the newly emerged George W. Bush:

[George Bush

recommend as special prosecutor - Canada leak (NSA listening station in Canada heard something)]

For those who do not know, in the Ronald Reagan era and before Patriot Act, the NSA could not eavesdrop on Americans.

How the NSA got around this was America eavesdropped on Canadians and the Canadian intelligence services spied on Americans.

George W. Bush, just revealed that Canada was leaking information on the Russian hacking............which brings the question of the clever Obama denial, "Did Obama with Clapper get the NSA to suggest to Prime Minister Trudeau to spy on Donald Trump for the NSA, and then pass that information back into the Obama regime to be implanted to trolls like Al Franken?

This is explosive in the dimensions of this. The Obama denial is clever. It does not state that the regime did not spy on Donald Trump, it only states that it was not ordered from inside the White House.

Someone did it, and as we know British MI6 was involved in the election tampering in America, are we now facing a Trudeaugate in the Prime Minister of Canada was spying on Donald Trump for image Obama and Hillary Clinton to overthrow the elections?

This was never about the Russians, this was about spying on Donald Trump, by the Obama regime, using foreign intelligence with British MI6 and whatever sucks off the NSA in Canada.

Return to lawful, USConstitution, USA, or perish. Either we are a nation of law or we are a democracy, where a mere 51% can vote for _anything_ they want. Enemies of USA, do not care about limited government.

Due a google search on:

1. Project 5 eyes
2. Project Echelon
3. Project Prism

This goes back to the early days after President Truman got rid of the OSS and established the CIA and the NSA.

Neither one were supposed to spy on American citizens.

However, with 5 eyes, we would spy on the uk/Brits, Australians, Kiwis and Canadians and let the mother countries know when they might have problems. Then, they would monitor American citizens for us and keep us appraised.

Eschelon came about a little later, and this 5 eyes lateral spying agreement became solidified and very functional for decades.

Prism supposedly replaced 5 eyes and Eschelon, but the 5 eyes/echelon concept was/is still there.

So Obama would not had to ask NSA/FBI to spy on Trump. He could have Clapper ask his counterpart in Canada to monitor Trump Towers and listen in to what was said.

The FBI would probably had put bugs in or set up electronic interceptions at Trump Towers for their Canadian intel counterparts to monitor all verbal and digital transmission to and from Trump Tower in October of last year until this year up to Trump becoming President.

Have fun. Don’t try this late at night to avoid getting insomnia.

Obama is playing a game by saying he didn’t order the FBI?NSA to spy on candidate Trump and his people. Obama probably had Clapper or ? ask his Canadian counterparts to spy on Trump and his people.
