I did, indeed, see many "dystopian" books for sale at an extreme leftist book store in San Francisco. The irony of that is that these dystopian societies described in the books are always the logical extensions of leftist policies drawn to extremes. The book, "1984," is an exploration of far-left society that is really not too different than leftist policies we have now, and our media routinely operates on the principles described in the book.

Speaking to Reason, Shriver said: “I think that the bullet we dodged in 2008 is still whizzing around the planet and is going to hit us in the head.” If so, this story has already been written.

And here is another example of the left pretending that it does not stand for what it promotes. If this author really thinks we dodged a bullet in 2008, how can she be credible on anything? By that statement, she shows herself to be one of the purveyors of dystopia that she claims to be against.

Lest anyone is unclear about the significance of President Trump's election, he was elected because the American electorate saw in him our last chance to save America from the socialist dystopia that Obama very nearly succeeded in achieving. The unprecedented efforts of the left to overthrow the government now are their desperate attempts to salvage their near-success in achieving utter destruction of the American system of freedom.

Exactly, and yet the libs are out there saying that folks should read "1984" so they'll know what President Trump has in store for us.
Um, not quite.
