What you're about to find out is that all the hulabaloo about Trump's first immigration order had nothing to do with the flaws in the order. It simply had to do with the fact that it was an order and Trump made it, and that it in any way bent policy to acknowledge radical Islamists coming from certain countries represent a terror threat.
The first one was not a Muslim ban. Neither is the second. The first one had problems but was entirely within Trump's scope of authority to implement, and should have been allowed to stand by the courts. The second one is more narrow, more measured, and even more legally sound than the first one.
None of this will matter. The left will run to the courts in exactly the same way, demanding the same outcome, because handing Trump a political defeat is the only thing that matters here:

I had a few lefty friends in arms over the 1st EO.
I explained that if it includes lawful and legal residents, approved asylum status, lawful residents, those who have helped us in the M.E. and citizens it needs to be adjusted.
As it turned out it included all of the above with no regard to status.
And now that has been rectified.
"The United States...shall protect each [state] against invasion" (Art IV, Sec 4, U.S. Constitution).
Illegal immigration and immigration of our enemies is INVASION which the Constitution specifically mandates the federal government to prevent.

This time President Trump should ignore the Courts. Time to begin removing judges.
What I like about EO 2 is 3 of the highest cabinet positions read it off — which was a challenge to any court, you touch this and there’s going to be political and constitutional consequences that won’t end well for you.
Sure they’ll shop until they find a washed up liberal judge, but I expect any legal challenges to die when they hit the brick wall of Federal Appeals.
If Trump ignores USConstitution and appears in a low level Federal court, the same thing will happen. I will then know that he does not have the level of legal advisors which are _required_ to overcome the enemies of USConstitution, especially domestic.

The mods fixed a story of mine because I did not say the correct source by accident and I asked them to fix it. That was minor compared to this. I hope someone notified them.
I wish that Trump issued EO’s that applied to the 9th Circuit and then orders that apply to the rest of the country. The 9th Circuit could not strike down any order that did not apply to its territory. It could strike down the one that only applies in the 9th. Thus, terrorists would have to come in through LA, SF and Seattle.
