AG Sessions open to using outside counsel to probe Obama DOJ

Attorney General Jeff Sessions said he would consider having outside counsel review actions taken by the Justice Department under the Obama administration — including an examination of charges that the IRS was engaging in politically-motivated investigations, and a probe of the department’s handling of an investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

In an interview Thursday with conservative radio show host Hugh Hewitt, the attorney general was asked whether he might investigate how the Justice Department was run under his predecessors, Attorneys General Loretta Lynch and Eric Holder.

“How about an outside counsel, not connected to politics, to review the DOJ’s actions in those matters with authority to bring charges if underlying crimes are uncovered in the course of the investigation, and just generally to look at how the Department of Justice operated in the highly-politicized Holder-Lynch years?” Mr. Hewitt asked in the interview, according to transcripts.

“Well, I’m going to do everything I possibly can to restore the independence and professionalism of the Department of Justice,” Mr. Sessions said. “So we would have to consider whether or not some outside special counsel is needed. Generally, a good review of that internally is the first step before any such decision is made.”

If Christie of Giuliani had been AG, this ball would have been rolling the day after they were confirmed.

No, this is exactly what he should be doing. An independent counsel that he knows is an honest (and conservative) one is needed. Sending stuff to Congress just leads to nothing.

Smells like a way for Sessions to wash his hands of it all to me.

Appoint a Special Prosecutor who is likely to pull a Comey and then say “Hey, he’s independent, what can I do?”

And don't forget Hillary's machinations at the State Dept. Just for openers---when she exited 6 billion tax dollars went missing.

========================================

I would bet good money that Hillary put all her people on the State Dept payroll before she exited. Could very well be that Huma and hubby Anthony, and the rest of the Hillary factotums are on the govt payroll as no-show govt contractors, still cashing multiple US govt checks, still receiving classified info, getting all the tax-paid perks they can dream up.

================================================

Taxpayers demand to know if Huma Abedin, Cheryl Mills, Sidney Blumenthal, John Podesta, Jennifer Palmieri, Heather Samuelson, and other Clinton cronies are STILL listed as State Dept employees---perhaps as contractors--and are still receiving classified mail and govt paychecks.

Note Brian Pagliano---Hillary's personal IT---left her employ then surfaced on the public payroll as a State Dept contractor.

======================================

Taxpayers demand to know who else among the Clinton cronies are cashing US govt paychecks? It's an old bureaucratic trick for a politician to hand-pick people and put them on the public payroll long after you think they're gone......perhaps as no-show State Dept "contractors."

<><> Hillary?

<><> Bill Clinton?

<><> Huma Abedin?

<><> Anthony Weiner?

<><> Cheryl Mills?

<><> Cheryl mills' live-in David Domenici?

<><> Chelsea Clinton?

<><> Chelsea's husband?

<><> immunized Heather Samuelson?

<><> Sidney Blumenthal?

<><> John Podesta?

<><> Jennifer Palmieri?

========================================

CONTACT CONGRESS HERE: http://www.contactingthecongress.org/

Demand Congress send you all available information on individuals connected to Hillary still cashing US govt paychecks. In light of the $6 billion missing from the contractor fund when Hillary exited, taxpayers demand to know who is listed as a State Dept contractor.

Demand to know if Huma, Cheryl Mills and the rest on the list are still submitting vouchers, getting perks.....and perhaps, getting classified information to sell.

Demand Congress secure all the documents Hillary's State Dept submitted and the number of her staff still listed on several govt payrolls. emand to see all the documents Hillary's State Dept submitted and the number of her staff still listed on several govt payrolls.

No, that’s only if he selects a bad special prosecutor. A good special prosecutor can convene a grand jury and do the real dirty work.

Don’t forget Fast and Furious Jeff.
Investigating the previous administration’s crimes would be a great way to shut them up.

What’s so STOOOOOOOPID about it?

Special Prosecutors. They’ve brought down Nixon. And Slick Willie also.

Sessions should hire 8-10 Special Prosecutors.

One for Obama. One for Hillary. One for Lynch. One for Bill. One for Lerner. One for Holder. One for Podesta. One for on and on and on....

Let the hearings begin. To allow the previous regime to get away with their crimes and felonies would be treasonous to the spirit of America.

I say give the independent counsel job to Miguel Estrada.

You know it is just sinking in for the Obama administration minions. Here comes the panic...the middle of the night cold sweats.

The manure is about to hit the fan.
