Ryan is a snake. While this mess may cost Republicans in the long run, it might be worth it to get rid of Ryan. Democrats are the known enemy, a Democrat/globalist posing as a Republican is a much more dangerous threat.
++++++++++++++++++++++++
For several years I’ve been warning everyone I know that Ryan is an extremely untrustworthy person, and possibly the most despicable RINO “lawmaker” ever to have set foot in Washington, D.C. A real puke who needs to be flushed down the hopper ASAP.

POTUS is using the Ryancare to let little Paul show how he doesn’t have the leadership to get it passed in the House with his own party in control. Thus, provoking calls for new House leadership and tossing little Paul to the curb.

I think Trump is setting Ryno up with fake support of his plan.

"I don’t believe Trump is strategic enough to have planned this . . ."

Sure. That's why Trump would smile and pat Ryan on the back for his wonderful plan in spite of the fact that he's bound to have known that the Ryan plan was doomed and knows Ryan is going to use his role as Speaker to undermine Trump every chance he gets.

In a March 13 article for The Atlantic, Frum argues that Ryan’s libertarian ideology is losing clout as the GOP’s base is gradually shifting to endorse government help for lower-income Americans who trying to pay for their increasingly expensive healthcare.

Wait what??

Ryan is too libertarian?

Frum had me until he said that.

Didn't you just write Trump said "repeal" and "replace"? So what is this talk about walking back elements? Walking back elements is tweak, tinker and fix, not repeal. So yes, he would be lying if he's "walking back elements of Obamacare." If it has always been "repeal" and "replace," as even you have agreed Trump said, Obamacare must go. There is no adding certain appendages. The "replace" comes after Obamacare has been repealed, not as a tweak while it still exists.

If, as you say, there will never be a flat out repeal, Trump lied. I'm a Trump supporter from very early on and I believe Ryan is lyin. Hopefully, President Trump is just giving him enough rope to hang himself.

If this is the result, I think Bannon and Trump will both deserve credit.

But it still seems to good to be true...

Replace Ryan with Trey Gordy—His Rinocare will not work—Trust to Rand Paul—Dump Obamacare (put in a cheap safety net for the uber poor and let it slip into the Dustbin of history—like prohibition). Maybe Ryan’s Days are done.

... which is Ryan’s home state that Ryan himself couldn’t deliver for Mitt Romney in 2012

**************************************************

Down in the blog comments on Sundance’s analysis of what is going on ( http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3534594/posts ), someone said that when Ryan ran for VP “he couldn’t attract flies”.

I agree that Trump is giving Ryano the rope to hang himself and, boy, is that overdue!

Repeal 'then' replace is a scam. Repeal 'and' replace is Trumps promise. My final summary is: (and was included in the last post) The fights are about visibility and control. Looks like Trump has set the goal ... repeal and replace, and the house and senate have to form a means to do it. <—— That is the desired nature of politics.

Trump has to work within the political reality.

It's Paul Ryan's baby now. He has to carry the tar baby down field and get us within scoring distance.

Trump on several occasions said "I'm not going to let people just die in the street" too.
