What a weasel. He could say, "We are investigating whether there was an illegal leak." Or he could say, "Leaks of this type would be illegal and unacceptable, and we are looking to see if it happened." Has he ever before made such an evasive comment about an investigation, i.e., "I can't confirm whether we are investigating terrorist cells, because that would confirm the possible existence of terrorist cells"?
