Cops accused of intimidating, threatening, then poking fun at faith.

Something doesn’t pass the smell test.
Well, it is from World Nut Daily.
Yeah.
There’s more information in the title than there is in the excerpt.
Read the article and see what this is about—making too much noise. WND spends 90% of its print obfuscating the issue trying to keep you on their site. Joe, you can do better than this.
Looks like it started as a noise complaint and then escalated after Mrs. Sause didn’t initially answer the door and then shoved a pocket constitution at the police officers. Attitude people!! Another source of info. on the case: https://firstliberty.org/cases/sause/
This should never have reached the level it has and for that matter an incident no one should have been able to write about.
Bingo times two.
Muslim woman?
No, she is Catholic according to the article.
Thanks. Well, that explains it. If she had been a muzzie, no one would have dared complain.
Ok I’m going to blow some anonymity here, but I just got real pissed. I live in Louisburg. I served on the city council for 13 years. I know both of these officers and one is a good friend. This article is absolutely nuts. There is no way either of these officers would keep her ftom praying in her own home.
How do they know she’s praying in her own home? Wire tapping?
Thanks for shedding some light on it. . .but it does seem strange. Did it make the headlines in your paper? I just can’t imagine it going this far up the food chain in the legal system. Her radio must have been really blaring. . .or a flimsy apartment complex walls. . . and then there are the neighbors. . .was this even a legit call to the police by them? Just asking. They may have to bring out the lie detector unit.
I sent a link to the article to the officer friend I mentioned
And no, I had not seen in the paprs. This is a small town too. I did notice she was suing for $$$. That might be the whole thing right there.
I rarely bother to click on World Net Daily links, they are full of hype and have about as much grip on reality as a leftwing news source trying to understand something Trump said.
They wouldn’t do this if she was a Muslim.
I have known some Pentecostal folks exercising their right to pray within their own homes, to where a neighbor thought the radio was too loud.
No complaints from me, there.
I have sat in my own apartment, playing a YouTube video of Thai monks praying (during a moment of reverent memories) over the stereo system. No one has complained to me.
There’s more to the story I think. If she’s yelling and screaming and annoying her neighbors perhaps there’s some truth. How does anyone know when she would be praying in order to call the cops to have her stop for whatever reason.
I’ve seen over the years they’ve really gotten weird.
