“Effective as of Dec. 31, 2017, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is repealed,

Why wait until December 31?>>> my guess is that he wants to allow the inscos abilty to renew the individual members for the next year so they are covered until 2019

I don’t no there might be something hidden in this bill... I think that is the way to do the bill with just one modification. a 3 month wait for it to go into effect to give time to everyone to adjust.

They don’t want to repeal Obamacare. They want to preserve the control by Fedzilla of all health care decisions and all medical records and they want to keep all the agencies created by Obamacare.

Thank you, Mo. I reside in the Al-5th and vote for Mo without hesitation each election. Great Conservative.

“as if such Act had not been enacted”

This is not a bill. It’s a press release. He obviously couldn’t be bothered to spend more than 5 minutes working on this. Mo saved Obamacare and is now enjoying his spring break with not a care in the world.

They can’t b blamed for throwing citizens out with no healthcare. They woud be put on the clock. 8 months to fix it properly. But Obamacare would be DEAD.

Everyone wanted it repealed. That repeals it.

What is the problem?

No the best that could have happened was Mo and friends stopping the bill because we will end up with a truly great health care bill.

Meanwhile, Mo Brooks brother Mel Brooks summed up how to deal with Obamacare when, in Blazing Saddles, he said: “Lusim Gain” (roughly “let them go” or “let it go” away).

“OCare” policy holders need to have some options spelled out.
Yes I am one who is paying full price right now and would love for it to be repealed if I could buy a catastrophic policy as an early retiree - right now they don’t exist.

They sure should pass it though. It gives them plenty of time to pass the “replace” part before the end of the year. Permit cross state competition, negotiate drug prices for medicare/caid, improve HSAs, reign in malpractice lawsuits, etc.>>> agreed and each piece should be stand alone so it can’t be labeled trumpcare. repubcare or any other meme. that will be hard to do but it is the only way.

Well, if it gets them to cough up a better bill asap, then it will have worked. There is no excuse for the House conservatives (or the moderates for that matter) to present their versions of both repeal and replace legislation. They’ve had 8 flippin years to work on this.

They kept saying “why not vote on the 2015 repeal legislation that passed unanimously”. Well, dust the f*****r off, and get it passed.

My oldest son and his wife have health insurance thru his job. Our daughter, her husband, their kind do, and our youngest son have NO health insurance. They always had it before Obamacare. They cannot afford it, all working class,, middle class, at small companies that no law ne’er offer health insurance. I signed youngest up for Obamacare with subsidy in California for under $100 a month with $6500 annual deduc. His first bill came to him at $244 a month. He was grossing about $10k a year. So he had to drop it.

My Medicare is charging me $700 a month. I never go to doctor. At 66 I still have 20 20 vision. Never broke a bone, nor had surgery. Don’t smoke, etc.

Before Obamacare it was MUCH BETTER!
