This past Sunday’s edition of 60 Minutes featured a piece by CBS’s Scott Pelley examining the idea of fake news, but it was far from perfect with a glaring omission, a shocked host and guest that liberals fall for fake news, and downright hypocrisy from the network that promulgated Dan Rather’s fake news.

CBS and 60 Minutes have used fake news many times but they did not report on themselves.
Anything that disagrees with Democrat Party talking points is called "fake news" on the right. "Fake news" news on the left has to be out and out lies before it is so identified.
“60 Minutes”.....I determined a long time ago that show was nothing than a traitorous Democrat Mouthpiece for treason that dates back to at least the Vietnam War.
Their effing ‘icon’ Mike Wallace was famous for it, as well as Peter Jennings. The only reason that Dan Rather didn’t get in on the “I’d let Americans get ambushed” bandwagon is because that a$$hole was embedded and out in the field with troops and had to limit his treason to later commentary after he was out of danger. Otherwise the troops would have fragged him.

Yes, I saw their blurb about “Fake News” on “60 Minutes” during one of he NCAA playoff games and had to just LAUGH. The network and the VERY SHOW that used FORGED DOCUMENTS to CREATE a story, was going to school us on “fake news”??? Too funny to even watch!

This crappy show was on at the little restaurant we ate in on Sunday night. I LOLed while reading the subtitles from the 60 minutes anchor. What a joke.
CBS is just now figuring out where its young and dumb viewers watch on Saturday Night?
He was a disgusting POS. It is even more disgusting that his POS son has managed to semi-hide himself as a closet liberal at Fox News.
If they ever figure out what their young, dumb viewers want to watch, 60 Minutes will be canceled and replaced with some zombie apocalypse show.
I might watch it then.

All you need to know about “Educated” snowflakes is watching one episode of Waters World on BOR when he visits a Campus or Spring Break location. It’s beyond disturbing and no doubt some of the “educated” morons will be heading to DC for a career.
That makes me think of Marie Harf, she is the epitome, to me, of a young female, supposedly educated but more accurately described indoctrinated, airhead-with-glasses. (Isn’t there some term for those glasses people wear to look “intellectual”?)

It makes more sense if you understand that they’re confusing educated with indoctrinated.
Did you watch the later segment about the grammar school chess team from a tiny rural town in Mississippi? At one point the 60 Minutes reporter asked the teacher about “moving to this tiny, backwater place” whereupon the teacher replied, “No place where people live is ‘backwater’.
The look on the reporter’s face was priceless!
BTW, they won the State championship (IIRC) and their 5th & 6th grade teams placed 8th & 10th out of 600+ teams at the National Championships.
