Was Trump Wrong or Is Obama Guilty?
Townhall ^ | April 2, 2017 | Bruce Bialosky

While Democrats focus on persecuting Republicans for any interaction with the leaders of a country they exalted for nearly a century, a secondary question became a “live wire” based on a tweet by President Trump. But is there any “there there?”

For me this issue started on March 2nd while watching "Special Report with Bret Baier" on Fox News. Anchor Bret Baier was gazing at his laptop near the end of the show and mentioned a late breaking item about how Trump had been surveilled. This was amidst heated discussion about Russia and how they had supposedly turned the election for Trump. Saturday morning brought the famous Trump tweet accusing Obama of wiretapping him.

The next day the Sunday shows brought a large focus to the issue, as did my discussions with friends. I was leaning Trump, but the entire matter became murky to me and I feared being out ahead of the facts. That is when I watched the Mark Levin video regarding the comments he made on his radio show that had generated both Baier’s comment and the source for Trump’s tweet.

I am neither a fan nor a detractor of Levin. I respect him as a very smart guy, but I find him a little edgy on his radio show. He has a prestigious background and is a serious guy who previously was the chief of staff for a U.S. attorney general.

Watching the various videos of Levin citing what he had stated on his show was quite a head kick. He went through a series of articles that came from The Guardian (U.K.), McClatchy, The New York Times (multiple articles) and the Washington Post from March 2nd, the day of the broadcast. These MSM (liberal) publications talked of FISA court requests, wiretapping, surveillance and, of course...

Excellent article by Bruce Bialosky [Twitter: https://twitter.com/brucebialosky] on "a conspiracy by the Obama administration and members of the security apparatus of this country to illegally spread innuendo and lies about the Trump campaign and transition team to damage their efforts to overturn Obama’s policies and expansion of the federal regulatory state."

I agree with many of Bialosky's conclusions.

Bruce Bialosky has stepped up to the plate in the current vacuum of journalistic integrity and has been doing yeoman work in his corner of the DC universe.

If the evidence is laid out in exacting detail, every single journalist who used the term “baseless charge” should be summarily fired. And there will be a lot of them.

What happened to Obama? Has he left the United States for another country for an extended, indefinite period? One in which he can take asylum?

That is your answer.

Oh, yes.

I've heard that he's at a sausage fest in French Polynesia. Wonder if his gay Pakistani lover from the past made an appearance?

IMO, it is incorrect to credit Levin`s comments with Trump`s tweets. Clearly there was a lot going on behind the scenes, and a lot already known by Trump about the surveilance before he decided to publicly comment on what he undoubtedly already knew for a long time. In fact. We now know that Nunes was aware of the Trump team surveilance since before the inauguration.

Step by step, slowly but surely, President Trump is being fully vindicated regarding his tweet.

Has anyone noticed how the naysayers are saying nay quite a bit less?

Kudos to Mark Levin for getting this ball rolling with his exemplary documentation of the Media's hypocrisy.

Combined with the new information that's emerging, it's beginning to paint a very clear picture of what was going on, going way back to even before the RNC.

Barack Obama and his ilk are steadily being exposed for the government-abusing scumbags that they have always been.

Obama's legacy is going to be obliterated by his own actions, and those of President Trump...

President Trump ought to pose the question to all ... should he continue the surveillance practice Obama used?

The press has been doing a bang up job, haven’t they folks?

Pathetic cowardly bedwetters who have allowed Ogabe to essentially destroy America.

Now they’re chomping at the bit to write the autopsy report. Fark them.

Btw—Mark levin added nothing to the conversation. It was an obvious attempt to rekindle his destroyed career & reputation. To hell with him and every other neverTrumper out there.

Saddle up boys.

Obunga has skipped and it's up to us to round him up and bring him back for his date with justice.

The posse rides at sunrise.

I agree about the neverTrumpers, closet and otherwise, and I night even agree on some of Levin's motivation here.

But I still appreciate what Levin has done to publicly summarize this case. His passion seems genuine, his knowledge isn't merely cursory, and I suspect he'd do a good job on this if he were currently working in the Justice department.

I want see the Justice Department strongly prosecute all of the lawbreaking that has occurred. Assuming the evidence is there, someone must press this issue with the public, because what our 44th President and his lackeys did was seditious, and a de facto betrayal of the country.

Barack Obama is going to end up with a big legacy—a large, negative, shameful legacy, devoid of achievement, of leadership, and of character...

I pointed your take on this matter to Bruce Bialosky on his Twitter feed. I agree.

Once upon a time, wiretapping involved placing an alligator clip on the red wire and another alligator clip on the green wire.

Today, it's a three-letter agency hijacking a telecom company's computers and placing a tee in the communication flow. Or simply running a database search over all the communications collected by all the telecom tees hoovered up into Bluffdale.

There can be no doubt that DJT's tweets about his "wires" in Trump Tower being "tapped" are correct.

The hardest thing to prove is whether Zero actually ordered the surveillance. But he didn't need to. After eight years, the Deep State knew its job and didn't need the Commander in Chief to spell it out. Just as Lois Lerner knew her job was to use IRS power to torpedo the Tea Party in 2012.

And then there is Zero's late (13 Jan 2017) and highly suspicious modification of EO 12333 to facilitate the flow of wiretapping fruits throughout the Deep State. See here. The more of the Deep State that sees twistable intelligence, the more likely it is to be leaked.

Great point. This is one of the ways individual and systemic corruption has worked since the dawn of government.

The significant thing is, it really won't matter whether it's proven that President Obama ordered the surveillance, because every rational American will know the truth, and his legacy will be tainted beyond any ability to repair...
