According to Obama states have no say in immigration.
This should work well for them.
I wouldn’t want to be in Pomona, Oakland or Compton when the EBT cards stop working all of a sudden.
Good. More fed dollars for the rest of us.
Assuming that I'm understanding the NYC matter correctly similar threats of funding cuts should be sent to Governor Moonbeam.
Can we put Border Control agents on every road leading from Cali?
One more time, with feeling—I am so happy we fled SoCal in 2015 for E Tennessee. Best thing we ever did.
At what point does California cause a Civil War.
At the point someone gives a damn.
This is good news. CA is all growed up and apparently doesn’t need Fed money to stand on their own. That’ll help with the Fed budget.
Mr. Trump, please pick up the white courtesy phone. Time for any federal funding to stop.
Good luck with that, Californians.

We left in 2010 for Wyoming and haven’t missed that diversity of perversity in the least!

Some FReeper, a few days ago, suggested that the wall make a sharp turn at the state line and run all the way up California.

At some point, there will be no more taxpayers to bear the burden.
I do feel very sorry for the good people who have homes and investments (farms, etc.), who will be hurt by this.
So, if Federal funds stop, does that mean California can withhold paying Federal taxes? I could see that being the effect which would lead to some form of Civil War?
“I do feel very sorry for the good people who have homes and investments (farms, etc.), who will be hurt by this.”
Btw, just to add, that includes the owner of this site and his family. This decision will have a serious impact on many solid, fine people.
