Most of the posts on this thread are wrong or just plain misguided.
The fact that deep budget cuts, and then Sequestration on top of those cuts, had eviscerated military readiness is hardly a State Secret.
It has been documented and in the public domain for over 3 years now. Trump ran against this situation, and is attempting to repair the damage, but it will take money and years to do it. Obama and the Congressional Republicans who voted for the cuts broke the military.
The readiness of our BCTs in the Army, Air Force Aircraft, and Navy ships and subs is in the toilet.
All the posters outrage is displaced. Blame Obama. Blame Ryan. Blame the Republicans in Congress who could find almost nothing else to cut except the US military.
