You really can’t.
You can look behind the car and by the time you’re behind the wheel, there they are.
This is just a tragic thing that could happen to anyone.
One thing I like about newer cars are the beepers that tell warn you of your proximity to an object. That may have been a real life-saver here.
Wonder if he had them on the car, or if somehow it was defeated.
Even when there is no fault, many people divorce after the death of a child. It totally changes the parent’s relationship. I can’t imagine the pain of accidentally killing your own child. Prayers for the family.
