Maduro plans to arm 400,000 supporters amid protests and unrest
The socialist leader of Venezuela announced in a speech to regime loyalists his plan to arm hundreds of thousands of supporters after a years-long campaign to confiscate civilian-owned guns.
"A gun for every militiaman!" Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro said to uniformed militia members outside the presidential palace, Fox News reported on Tuesday. The Bolivarian militias, created by Maduro's predecessor Hugo Chavez, already number in the hundreds of thousands and are being used to supplement the regime's armed forces. Maduro is boosting the number of armed supporters in hopes of keeping control over the country from what he labels "imperialist aggression."
The arming of Maduro's supporters comes five years after Venezuela's socialist regime outlawed the commercial sale and civilian ownership of firearms. Only the military, police, and groups like security companies can buy guns and only directly from one state-run arms company under the law passed in 2012, according to the BBC. The country recently doubled down on its gun ban through a combination of gun buybacks and confiscations in the summer of 2016.

1. It puts the lie to liberal (or progressive, or whatever euphemism is used) statements/policy regarding firearms.
2. Shows the logical end result of placing all power in a central government authority
3. Liberals would like to do the same to those perceived to not agree with them, but are too chickens**t, knowing they would get slaughtered if they openly tried at this point in time.

Chavez organized goon squads based in the slums and armed with military weapons, right from day one. He always had people who would do what cops and soldiers wouldn’t do. And it had the advantage of being deniable.
They saved him when he was briefly deposed in a coup, they swarmed over the fence and took back the palace, and then the young officers guarding his cell put him on the chopper and flew him right back into power.
This is what the anti-Maduro people need to do. They are able to put literally millions in the street. They need to have a priest bless the crowd... can you do “last rites” over a million people at once?... and then do as Chavez’s people did, swarm over the fence and take the palace. They will have sharpshooters firing at them, but they can have a few flying squads of their own taking out the sharpshooters.
They have the millions. They need to use them in one determined push.
There's not much left of traditional black communities these days. The twin epidemics of crack cocaine and violent street gangs in the late 70s - early 80s, sparked an exodus out of those communities which continues to this day.
Today, so-called 'black' communities, are heavily inundated with hispanic immigrants, many of them illegal. Their presence has sped the trend of blacks dispersing to other areas.
In my region of North Texas, I see blacks walking the streets in some of the most unlikely areas. Its like some unseen hand is slowly mixing the different ingredients of a gigantic salad.
So, is that where Berkeley PD got the idea to disarm one side and arm up the other?

One year later he confiscated the guns. The US media cheered him on! I said he would seize power, and become a dictator, in two years.

This explains the hate-cop love-cop approach of liberals. Love them when free citizens are armed with “cop killing bullets”, hate them otherwise when it is to employ them to overwatch the fascists riot and genocide.
