Suspended Alabama Supreme Court chief justice weighs bid for state’s U.S. Senate seat

Long a controversial figure, Chief Justice Moore’s colleagues on the high court voted Tuesday to uphold his suspension, finding he tried to thwart the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2015 ruling recognizing a national right to same-sex marriage.

“This was a politically motivated prosecution from the very beginning,” Chief Justice Moore said after a final ruling Tuesday by the other justices on the Supreme Court. “I’ve done my duty under the laws of this state to uphold the sanctity of marriage and the undeniable truth that God ordained marriage between one man and one woman. Mere human judges have no authority to say otherwise.”

The state has the option to be ungodly. I believe this was necessary in God’s plan so that nobody would consider the state to be a source of godliness.

What has happened is the state has seized a definition of marriage that isn’t godly, and this was the case, only less obviously, prior to “gay marriage.” Would Moore confer marriage between the biblically uneligible? Is heterosexuality the only saving grace?

“Gay marriage” only pushed this issue into the limelight.

I would vote for him over Strange Luther who took a bribe in the form of a Senate appoint instead of going after our reprehensible dirtbag governor.

He stands against the Brotherhood of Tyrants. None shall speak against their illicit edicts and not suffer the consequences.

I think Moore is overly optimistic.

He would serve America better as an evangelist. Its “God” has fallen from the bible one to a ceremonial secular figment. The USSC even said so. When the foundation is destroyed do you keep on pretending there is a foundation? No! You get out of that unsafe building and rebuild the foundation. This is the evangelist’s work. Not the judge’s.

Would Trump consider elevating Moore to USSC? All manner of secular lefties would croak.

But that’s about the only logical way, other than being an evangelist, Moore could be part of anything remotely approaching a solution. I’d still ask if he is willing to be full bible minded, not just partly.

I don’t care what the attorneys say.

Roberts, Kennedy, Ginsburg, Breyer, Sotomayor, and Kagan must be impeached.

Yep. Old Luther was bribed, and as a result is a tainted and corrupt senator.

Get him out!

This guy would make an excellent U.S. Supreme court Justice.
The man actually believes in the law as written.
