Every liberal program program sold on the idea of protecting the middle class has actually done the opposite, due to the left's complete misunderstanding of economics. They have never understood how the margins control prices, and America is paying the price. Stagnant wages influenced by skyrocketing healthcare costs and cheap illegal labor. A housing bubble caused by forcing banks to lend to more unqualified buyers leading to higher demand and higher prices. The (un)Affordable Care Act, driving up insurance costs. 2 decades of skyrocketing prices for college educations so that people like the Senator can live like royalty and think big thoughts.
The only program I can think of that has helped the middle class in the last 50 years has been the GI Bill.
PLEASE, do not let us destroy her 2020 candidacy!!! Can you imagine a Trump v Warren debate? Can you imagine the victory margin at the polls? She has just as much charisma as Hillary, and none of her name-recognition, and none of her corruption/blackmail machine. Let us be more that deferential and appear somewhat fearful of a Warren candidacy.

I for one cannot remember the last time Elizabeth Warren was amused by *anything*.
Is there ever a democrat campaigning or lecturing us whose rhetoric isn't always about fighting this and battling that?
They seem to live in a world where they see themselves as constantly beseiged and they are always at war with almost the entire world.
Even after democrats ran the country for 16 of the last 24 years they are still crying about battling a racist system, fighting an unjust economic system, fighting for the middle class, fighting for the poor little babies or the poor illegal aliens.
And those who cry the loudest about greed and an unfair economic system are all multi-millionaires. And most of them became wealthy in the government or in some sort of organization connected to / subsidized by / or enriched and protected by government.
Organizations like universities as an example.
