Toronto police have closed off a section of the city's downtown financial district after reports of a loud blast, a spokeswoman said on Monday, and heavy smoke was seen in the area.
Heavy smoke was pouring out of sewer grates at the corner of King and Bay Street, in the heart of the city's financial core, according to a Reuters witness.
