Not that it matters, they are dead to me.
In fact, I was just doing some comparative shopping for an item and Target was not on the list.
Without the Obama Administration to reward and punish those who toed his ideological line, I believe the outcry of the left against Target would be far less right now.
Their middle ground is to announce that they are installing one occupant only restrooms and dressing rooms throughout their system to ensure all ideas are met and security for all is covered.
Maybe they should stay out politics.
Target was a great store. Geez, what were they thinking? Why don’t we scare and insult our customers?
And despite the devastating effects of the boycott, they still won’t act to try and rectify their astoundingly ignorant policy.

They truly did tell us that we are stupid, insignificant believers in ridiculous ideas from the middle ages. They truly did threaten the security of our children.
You have to wonder how anyone could be that stupid in public.

... and I think, ultimately, that Amazon’s stores will win out in the end.
i have been planning everyday to go to Target to buy a coffeepot but i keep delaying because of traffic or parking issues. Today, I did what almost always happens .... i’m buying the coffeepot from Amazon. Place the order, great selection, arrives in a day or two.
I refuse to buy from Target as well, they ruined a perfectly good mall in my town, had it torn down for their ugly red crapbox.
Targets are not lovely stores are they?
And, for whatever reason, I never liked their layout and atmosphere. Always screamed “cheap” at me like K-Mart does.
I take it as fact that the majority of customers at Target are females, and they often have their daughters or granddaughters with them. Women who are in public places need to know that their privacy will be guaranteed when they use the rest rooms. If they know that men are going to be in there with them and/or their daughters, that creates deep anger and fear.
What Target did was that it both angered their female customers, and it also instilled in them a FEAR of going into the store. Now, why would executives want their customers to be fearful on shopping in their stores? What kind of profit does someone expect if people are afraid to shop there?
This policy enacted by Target was one of colossal stupidity, made by people who either deliberately ignored their primary base, or were pathologically ignorant of their needs.
Dumb stuff, too, say an office item or kitchen gadget. You'd think the place would have multiple selections. It just wasn't worth the hassle and frustration even when the store was convenient.
What's the good of portraying the store as a nicer, less ramshackle Wal-Mart, when they couldn't provide the same generic products? No surprise that they are more interested in selling a political agenda than actual merchandise. It is consistent with a layout and atmosphere that has a distinct Soviet vibe to it.
They should have worked at Yahoo.
The ceo will walk away with near $200 million for failing. She once hired a guy who quit after less then a year and he got close to $100 million. She hired Katie Couric for $6 million a year then renewed for $10 million. She was just throwing money at friends and destroyed a company.
Penny’s admitted their mistake and have been working to turn things around. They are improving but slowly.
