DEMOCRAT Senator Calls For a Special Prosecutor to Investigate Huma Abedin
thegatewaypundit ^ | Cristina Laila

Posted on 05/05/2017 5:33:04 AM PDT by davikkm

Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) appeared on MSNBC Thursday morning and called for a special prosecutor to investigate if Huma Abedin committed a crime by forwarding the classified material to her husband, Anthony Weiner’s computer.

Via Fox News:

“If there was classified information and it was improperly passed to a person unauthorized to receive it, yes, naturally it’s a crime,” Blumenthal said. “Without knowing what the intentions were and so forth, there is potentially a prosecutable crime.”

Host Joe Scarborough asked if it should have been prosecuted.

“It still may be, potentially. It’s not outside the statute of limitations, so far as I know. It’s one that the Department of Justice is going to have to decide,” Blumenthal continued. “The question is: who will decide it? That’s why we need a special prosecutor to review all of this investigative material.”

We really need to dispense with the notion that ‘intention’ is in any way relevant, when discussing crime. A bed in forwarded classified info to her sleazebag husband. HER INTENTIONS DON’T MATTER. Get on with it......and then go for Susan Rice and John Koskinen.

Blumey the prevaricator must have Ken Starr ready to jump right on this!

The law in question, IIRC, has no mention of "intent". That is a big red herring, IMO.

Look past what Blumenthal says. He wants a Special Prosecutor any way he can get it so the prosecutor can dig into Trump and his allies. He is willing to sacrifice Abedin to get the Special Prosecutor started. Past Special Prosecutors seem to have limitless powers to go anywhere they want.

As I posted on the other thread.
The RATs are going to “sacrifice” her to try and save Hitlery’s fat azz.
They’re not interested in justice or truth. Those are horror words to RATs.
They’re interested in protecting “Fat Mama” and probably several of their own fat azzes as well.
Hopefully, it blows up in their faces, and both of these traitors, along with a bunch of others of their ilk, end up in a federal pen, preferably GITMO.

So who did Wiener pass them on to? Perhaps an overseas relative of Huma’s?

“We really need to dispense with the notion that ‘intention’ is in any way relevant, when discussing crime.”

“Intention” is only necessary when you are looking for a way to wave your hands, blow smoke and find a reason not to prosecute. Intention only applies to Democrats and Socialists, because regardless of the outcome, their intentions are always good. (Oh, those hundred million people we killed in the twentieth century, we didn’t intend that.) It does not apply to non-political Americans who misuse or violate security rules. (Like taking a selfie on a submarine and accidentally catching a piece of secret equipment in the background.)

Blue menthol should ask the hack Comey about it. After all his speciality is finding espionage on computers — ain’t that right Hellary?

I think there's more to it than that. The democrats were devastated by Hillary's candidacy. The Clinton's have been a drag on their party since Monica Lewinsky got her dress dirty. Now Hillary is plotting a come back. Hinting at running in 2020, blaming everyone but the man in the moon on her loss and making plans for a new PAC to support attacks on Trump. She's gonna kill them all over again.

If offering up Huma stops Hillary and let's the party to get past her I think that's a price many democrats are willing to pay. Even if it means the beast goes down too.

I have met Blumenthal and he gives me the creeps—someone has big time blackmail files on the guy.

The insiders have neutered Trump and now there are ready for their next move.

I’d just like to see Sessions get off his dead a$$ and convene a grand jury and start charging people. He does not need Comey to do jack. No need for a special prosecutor either (unless Sessions refuses to do his sworn duty). Special prosecutors tend to go out of whack (e.g Fitzgerald, Walsh, Starr)..

What in Hell have "Intentions" got to do with it?

This is a ploy by a Dem to make the “special Prosecutor” idea acceptable to GOP and then this independent person can go after Trump. Just like they did to Nixon and Clinton. He is using this as a ticket to the dance.

“If offering up Huma stops Hillary and let’s the party to get past her I think that’s a price many democrats are willing to pay. Even if it means the beast goes down too.”

Perhaps, but I think BJ’s wife and her main squeeze know too much to get hurt, and so I believe they may make a show of bringing her/them down, but Huma is too well-connected to the Fraud’s terrorist BFF’s, and BJ’s wife is BJ’s wife.

Hence another fraudulently “right-wing” special investigator/prosecutor proposed by a disgrace of a Democrat to lead America to believe that there will “FINALLY” be justice, and then write a 900k-page “report” and drop the ball and become the new late night joke sensation like Starr did.

I will do it for $1 million. That will save the taxpayers millions more. I know where to find the answer already. No, I’m not sharing.
