And not just fires him, but does it in the coldest possible way - publicly, through the television screens, as Comey bizarrely laughed, convinced he was unfireable, just as he began to make a speech in Los Angeles. It was an artful use of the media, of which Trump has a masterly understanding. "You are hereby terminated and removed from office, effective immediately," Trump's letter read, released soon afterward the laugh.

World leaders, ever since the days of President Reagan's air traffic controller's debacle have long noted how a U.S. president behaves on domestic mattters as their cue to how to act with the U.S. leadership. Part of holding power is knowing how to use power. Trump knows how to use power and his firing of Comey shows that he is not afraid of powerful people.

I’ve heard some commentators saying that the president would not fire Hoover back in the day because he was so scared of him and that Trump must be equally scared of Comey. Guess not true.

Comey must have read that and believed it. I noticed that he became passionate during the hearings in explaining his actions. Bad form, whether sincere or not, as if he was the one that mattered the most. He took himself much too seriously. And that concept about requiring intent is so pathetically arrogant and bizarre.

Comey is gone from the FBI. The man who took a formerly great institution and turned it into a cheap political tool should have been fired the day Trump took office. I am delighted he is gone and his #2, McCabe needs to go too. He supposedly hosted a gathering at the FBI after the election where agents blasted and disrespected Trump, all in the name of having a good time. Get rid of him too.Also, his wife was encouraged by the VA Governor (close Clinton friend) to run for the state senate and arranged for her to receive over $700,000 in contributions from pro Hillary Clinton folks about the same time the FBI began investigating Hillary’s emails. The money was a bribe to Andrew McCabe to try and blunt the Hillary investigation, which may have worked. He is as dirty a cop as Comey.
That’s right. LBJ was a gangster and a real pig.
