Left out of the analysis of course is any discussion of how the Trump Administration's approach to energy policy may be having an effect. Indeed, it may be too early to truly judge how a more "production friendly" administration effects supplies. Regardless, it is nice to see OPEC and its buddies suffering as we do better.

I haven’t heard much said about refining capacity lately. During GWB’s admin, that was the big problem cited about gas prices.

Any mention of OPEC Arabs taking it in the shorts (if they wear any) is always a good thing. For too long, the US had made itself a lackey of OPEC, when we have had a good lot of the stuff right here, at home.

Can you imagine what would have been, if nutless Jimmah Cahtuh had told OPEC to fly a kite, instead of having the country suffer as it did?

Here in SW Pa, they’re actually going up ... not by much in the last two or three months, but they ARE going up.

Gas is off of it’s price point. It will self correct soon enough, by the gas price going down, or the sale of the Dodge Demon going up.

Not sure why gas prices here went from $2.13/gal to $2.49/gal here OVERNIGHT ... YIKES! That’s quite the price hike!

I’d like to see gasoline e selling g for ten cents a gallon. And I want my money back for all the over priced gasoline that Zero’s reign of error caused.

I hope I live long enough to see OPEC completely bankrupt.

A huge problem for OPEC is that all the industrialized countries realize they can't rely on oil from the politically unstable Middle East. That's why the development of modern fracking techniques opened up massive new oilfields in the USA and as a result, are far less reliant on OPEC countries for crude oil. Countries like Venezuela and Nigeria are really taking a beating because of this.
