About Those 18 Undisclosed Meetings The Trump Campaign Had With The Russians
Townhall.com ^ | May 18, 2017 | Matt Vespa

Here we go again. We have found more undisclosed meetings with the Russians. That means more mouths will foam. More accusations will fly, though Democrats are about to get rabid again over nothing again, which is always entertaining. The New York Times reported that Trump associates had contact with Russian intelligence officials a year before the election, but there was no evidence of collusion. Some associates, like Paul Manafort, have done business in the country and running into Russian intelligence isn’t unusual. So, nothing came of that. The infamous Russian dossier that was published in full on BuzzFeed was compiled by a former MI6 operative, Christopher Steele, as part of an opposition research project by anti-Trump Republicans, which was later taken over by Democrats. The dossier is unverified. It largely remains uncorroborated. What we do know is that Russian government officials talked to other Russians, but we don’t know what they discussed. Now, there are reports that the dossier itself was a project funded by the Russians. Fusion GPS, which funded the effort, has refused to cooperate with the Senate Judiciary Committee, who sent a letter asking them if they could answer some questions about this project.

There is no solid evidence that the Russians colluded with the Trump campaign during the 2016 election and it remains that way. Reuters reported that the Trump campaign had 18 undisclosed communications with Russian officials during the last seven months of the 2016 elections. Buried in the story: no evidence of collusion (via Reuters) [emphasis mine]:

Michael Flynn and other advisers to Donald Trump’s campaign were in contact with Russian officials and others with Kremlin ties in at least 18 calls and emails during the last seven months of the 2016 presidential race, current and former U.S. officials familiar with the exchanges told Reuters.

The previously undisclosed interactions form part of the record now being reviewed by FBI and congressional investigators probing Russian interference in the U.S. presidential election and contacts between Trump’s campaign and Russia.

Six of the previously undisclosed contacts described to Reuters were phone calls between Sergei Kislyak, Russia's ambassador to the United States, and Trump advisers, including Flynn, Trump’s first national security adviser, three current and former officials said.

[…]

The people who described the contacts to Reuters said they had seen no evidence of wrongdoing or collusion between the campaign and Russia in the communications reviewed so far. But the disclosure could increase the pressure on Trump and his aides to provide the FBI and Congress with a full account of interactions with Russian officials and others with links to the Kremlin during and immediately after the 2016 election.

So, there’s nothing wrong. There’s nothing illegal. And there’s nothing improper with these meetings. Associated Press’ Julie Pace also mentioned that there was nothing wrong with the meetings Trump officials had with the Russians.

Nothing’s changed here, folks. There’s still no evidence of collusion. The House and Senate Intelligence committees have also yet to find smoking guns relating to the collusion allegation.

This whole entire thing is about setting up perjury traps, that is all. It is easy to step into one too.

More bleep will hit the fan when they start reporting that Trump Did Business in Russia. And so did Ivanka.

That’s what international businessmen and women do. But try to explain that to a low-IQ liberal. We on the right knew this before the election. I for one liked Trump from the beginning BECAUSE he did business all over the world. He knows how the world works.

Apparently he didn’t know enough about how the SWAMP operates. glug, glug, glug.

The RATs are in absolute panic mode. They HAVE to push this Russian thing because they say the firing of Comey as the possible start of a HUGE downfall of their empire.
Keep in mind, those howling the loudest, have the most corruption and the most to lose.
Roll on, Trump...ya got em pissin’ in their panty hose.

Yes, but will people give up and just figure that the liberals won’t riot if we just elect them or something?

This all goes back to Trump’s observation he was wire tapped, his words. The comment about surveillance is true, has been proven. Furthermore, he pushed for an investigation for whom provided the Flynn info to the press. Of course, no follow up by the agency that perhaps the leak came from, rather, continued blather about how Trump tried to stop their investigation. Investigation of what, a legal conversation??

This is so much bull crap and why the ENTIRE DC apparatus needs be flushed and start over somewhere else, like in Omaha away from the corporate media monster and the K street bandits.

What law says that a civilian has to report meeting with Russians, or any other people in the world?

Reuters reported on unmasked communications that included emails, text messages, and other contacts between team Trump and Russian nationals.

These unmasked communications were leaked to Reuters.

That’s a federal crime. And this is a witch hunt by deep state operatives and the hate-Trump media.

You are exactly right. The dems and the media are in full blown panic as their criminal deeds will no longer be protected by dirty Comey. Obama better watch out too.

Questions for those in the know :

1) Is it illegal for a campaign to have contact with any foreign government ( e.g. Russia or China )?

2) Is the campaign required to disclose any such contact by law? If so, to whom?

All of this activity sounds like it has it’s roots in 0bama’s favorite book “Rules for Radicals”.

One of the other aspects of this is that many of the people they are claiming “colluded” with the Russians (to do what, exactly?) were not even in his campaign and furthermore could not have had any idea that they might someday be offered a position in his administration. There’s nothing illegal or improper in doing business with Russia - in fact, the Clintons were all over Russia, trying to extort money from it for their dubious business deals - and it is to be expected that high-level business deals will also be discussed by the Russian parties with Russian government officials.

It’s like the “laptop leak.” This information appeared in the press about a month ago, when the Brits were the first to announce that they were banning laptops on flights from certain countries. At the time, they said that the intelligence did not come from them, and speculation named Israel as the possible source. This was open, in the press, and announced to all the world by the media literally a month before Trump had this supposed conversation with the Russian. So where is the “Trump intelligence leak” in all this?

House Rino’s are in panic mode too. Have you seen the story that connects the Russia/Trump connection to Paul Ryan? http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/05/18/evan-mcmullin-kevin-mccarthy-washington-posts-trump-putin-entous-washington-post/

Who is suspected of “leaking” this secret conversation that was recorded on June 15, 2016? None other than Evan McMullin, while he was policy director of the House Republican Caucus. In August 2016, McMullin launched a presidential campaign in the 2016 election for President of the United States, as an independent candidate.

Things that make you say hmmm. Just who was paying McMullin to record secret Republican meetings? McMullin has been pushing this “Russian Connection” for a long time. President Trump needs to find out just who is behind McMullin. From Wikipedia “In a February 2017 op-ed, McMullin wrote that “President Trump’s disturbing Russian connections present an acute danger to American national security.” He called upon congressional Republicans to “recommit to patriotic prudence” and “demand that Attorney General Jeff Sessions appoint an independent special counsel to investigate Russia’s assault on American democracy and Mr. Trump’s possible collusion with the Kremlin.”

http://apps.washingtonpost.com/g/page/national/read-the-transcript-of-the-conversation-among-gop-leaders-obtained-by-the-post/2209/

The transcript of the meeting includes one very curious statement from Paul Ryan, discussing his meeting with the Ukrainian Prime Minister. He is saying what Russia is doing to Ukraine is what they are doing to us, “financing our populists, financing people in our governments to undo our governments, you know messing with our oil and gas energy, you know all the things Russia does to basically blow up our country.”

So if Paul Ryan knows Russia is doing all of these things, why doesn’t he do something about it? Cathy McMorris Rogers who was discussing Russian propaganda with Paul Ryan in the recorded conversation says, We aren’t doing anything about it, we aren’t, we are not.

Rogers supported Trump, Paul Ryan did not.

All this stuff is clearly revealing that the leftists are crazy. Their entire thought process is built on sand. It's crumbling before them.

One thing that no one has mentioned, is that Trump began educating himself on issues over a year in advance. I know a person who spent 6 hours with him on just one issue a year before the election. They are criticizing him for being prepared!

FBI allowed Clinton’s “forensics service” (not FBI forensics) to examine the DNC servers. Then, surprise surprise, “17 agencies agree it was the Russians.” What are the chances that Muller will ask why the FBI could not do the work? After all, he damn well should care if it was Seth Rich.

The Emerging Connections Between The Muslim Brotherhood and “Never Trump”…

Representative Adam Kinzinger, Senator John McCain, candidate Evan McMullin

Well lookie there. During a trip to Turkey in 2014 to discuss arming Syrian rebel groups, under the auspices of fighting ISIS, you see Representative Adam Kinzinger appear. Oh yeah, and who’s that other fellow circled in the meeting? ….why that’s our anti-Trump candidate Evan McMullin.

So this is not enough to impeach Trump on?

When asked what the standard by which Trump should be impeached, Maxine Waters said, “I am talking about strategies that were developed working with the Trump campaign. I really do believe that much of what you saw coming out of Trump’s mouth was a play from Putin’s playbook. I think that when you saw him absolutely calling Hillary crooked, the, “lock her up, lock her up” all of that was developed. I think that was developed strategically with people from the Kremlin, with Putin, and I think it’s more than bank records.”
Maxine Waters Claims Putin Came Up With ‘Lock Her Up,’ ‘Crooked Hillary( Breitbart 18 May 2017)

Putin giving Trump lines for his rally's is clear collusion with a foreign power to affect the election. No wonder Trump got so many fans in his audience. Putin wrote all his best lines! HAHA!
