Friday at the Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce in Irving, TX, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said some President Donald Trump political problems were self-inflicted.
Cruz said, What Im trying to do is just ignore the circus.

That’s a good point I overlooked. I believe there was an article posted here on FR yesterday suggesting this was the case.
Well said
Sigh. One “would” too many in my previous post.
Should read.....
3. The democrats polled impeachment and found out this action would be very bad for the democrats.
Be serious. If Trump were a Democrat, Democrats would be everywhere, all the time, defending him tooth and nail. You’ve somehow gotten the idea that it’s possible for Democrats to defend their own, but the GOP “can’t” do likewise. It doesn’t even make sense on its face.
If McConnell and Ryan wanted to support Trump, they could very effectively do so. What’s missing is not pro-Trump facts and talking points; what’s missing is the will to defend him.
Thank you. I pray for Trump daily.
Any links for the prophesies?
Amen to that.
Exactly right. Cruz is a hypocrite.
One one hand, Ted may be right. (NEVER thought I’d say THAT!”)
Trump’s first mistake was keeping employed so many of Obama’s people and giving them the benefit of the doubt. On Day One he should’ve dismissed everyone from the highest level to about four grades below that. Everyone.
His second mistake was hiring anyone who didn’t support him beginning in June 2015. BTW, Pence did not support him. There was plenty of wonderful talent who had been loyal since he took his escalator ride.
Why aren’t Giuliani, Clarke, et al., in top positions instead of some of the weasels who are there?
Anyhow, I love Trump. MAGA! He’s just trying to be too nice to the proverbial “snakes” from the poem.
FUTC and your “never Trumper” thumb suckers. You and your ilk are the cause of the Trump derangement and fueled the Clinton anti-Trump hysteria. I remember Mark Levin pushing for this guy and I was all aboard. WTH is his issue with Trump? He is so ignorant that his cackling fragments our cause. Day by day I believe 2018 may hit us hard and POTUS one term.
There’s no other country
He came back and worked with them exclusively for the second version. Seems like there was lots of support from them when it passed.
I know, I was venting...
I will fight forever to keep Our President...and so will all the 65+ million American Voters...
I will however march on Washington D.C. if that is what it takes!!!
But I can guarantee you that every single one of them made note of the fact that the "Tuesday Group" moderates in the GOP who opposed both versions of the bill never got a single bit of public criticism from President Trump.
I suspect most Republicans in Congress look at their dealings with President Trump the exact same way ... which is why none of them are going to go out on a limb to support him without having a full picture of what they're dealing with.
I wasn’t and I’m not Never Trump.
I can however face reality. He screwed up the most important half of his first four months. Needs to do it over—fast.
Clown cRuz IS the circus.
He needs to keep his stories straight...you know, the ones he tells when in DC and the ones he tells at Chamber of Commerce meetings.
There aren't many of us, but we hold fast to the words of Patrick Henry:
"You are not to inquire how your trade may be increased, nor how you are to become a great and powerful people, but how your liberties can be secured; for liberty ought to be the direct end of your Government."
Liberty, liberty, liberty above all.
“Some of the snowflakes on this forum are assuming the fetal position.”
When have we seen this pose before? Debates, primaries, convention, inauguration, press conferences...?
A number of days ago, Matt Drudge mentioned on his web site that the dems were polling impeachment.
A few days later, Drudge had a link to a story saying that the dems were backing away from impeachment.
Apparently the dems own polling results on impeachment scared the crap out of them.
ROFL...I so agree with you...
