So they would have to eliminate a good part of the Koran, which isn't allowed.....if they change it then it's not the "final word"....and it would not be accepted. When you had the Shia Sunni element into the fray...and that the Arabs are actually the decedents of Ishmael...there will alawys be fighting groups among them..until the return of Christ.
There is a difference between “fighting going on” and a religion that has inherent violence against others in its teaching. Taoism doesn’t. Shintoism doesn’t—and it WAS reformed.
I don’t trust Islam as a religion one iota. But it could conceivably be reformed by purging the violence. To date, however, all four legal schools of Islam support violent jihad. All it would take is for one of them to crack.
Again, not something I expect, but Christian prophecy in no way prevents it, nor does human nature. People reform violent systems to more peaceful ones (and vice versa) all the time. Islam has been a 1000 year holdout.

I was pretty twitchy watching it I have to say......even if it is tradition for special events...seeing all those flying swords, the drum beat and chanting....my source of reference was Faisal in Lawrence of Arabia! HA!
