A former minion for the Iowa Democratic Party now operating as a Guardian reporter, Ben Jacobs, assaulted Montana Republican House candidate Greg Gianforte on Wednesday. Jacobs has a history of opposing his political opponents’ freedom of speech, as GotNews reported in October.
Gianforte is competing against Democratic candidate Rob Quist for a House seat that opened up after President Donald J. Trump appointed Ryan Zinke to be secretary of the interior. The special election is Thursday.

Jacobs was asked to leave. After asking Jacobs to lower the records, Jacobs declined. Greg then attempted to grab the phone that was pushed in his face. Jacobs then grabbed Greg’s wrist, and spun away from Greg, pushing them both to the ground. It’s unfortunate that this aggressive behavior from a liberal journalist created this scene at our campaign volunteer BBQ.
