Sen. Graham: Comey's Actions on Fake Russian Email 'Incompetent'

Sen. Lindsey Graham lashed out at fired FBI Director James Comey Sunday, calling his intervention in the 2016 election an "incredibly incompetent thing to do" if it was based on "fake information generated by the Russians."

In an interview on CNN's "State of the Union," the South Carolina Republican said "I don't know who to believe anymore."

"He never briefed the Congress, the Judiciary Committee," he said. "What he told the Intelligence Committee about this e-mail – he never suggested it was fake. So, if he intervened in the election based on fake information generated by the Russians, that was an incredibly incompetent thing to do."

Graham called the disclosure "a huge deal."

"The idea that the FBI director's decision to jump into the election and say that Hillary Clinton did not commit a crime but [that] she was pretty much incompetent was based on a fake e-mail from Russia," he added "is a stunning story."

"From [a congressional] point of view, he never told us it was fake," he said. "So, he needs to be held accountable and if … it is not fake, we need another investigation."

"If this is a true email, I want to see the email," he added.

The issue is DNC email beimg fakely attributed to Russians ( or being developed by US spies to look like Russian tampering) to cover rhe DNC and make them look like victims of Boris and Natasha

Some time ago, I commented on a site about how the people of Arizona shouldn’t be allowed to vote anymore, given the fact that they send people like McCain and Flake, back to DC. Someone responded, stated they were from Arizona, stated that they never voted for McCain and didn’t know anyone that did.

To the people of South Carolina, you had a choice a while back, to send Graham home. You had a multiple viable choices. You had the opportunity to send this excuse for a man, Senator and military officer, away, forever. Graham did a Congressional visit to Afghanistan, as a Senator. But, chose to wear his Air Force uniform. I imagine so he could get the thrill of people saluting him and kissing his ass even more. I doubt that is even proper per the UCMJ, but hey, it’s Graham. He’s as good a Democrat as any of them and loves getting the country into wars, so someone loves him.

Next time, people of South Carolina, give someone else a chance. You already know what Graham is going to do. Maybe the next person will surprise all of you and do some good. Or are the Jewish and homosexual communities, in Charleston, so powerful that they get to pick the winners and losers?

Unfortunately, the FBI isn’t as pure as the driven snow, as some are led to believe. It has quite a dark history, but when you challenge the biggest and most “influential” law enforcement agency in the country, it’s hard to take them down. You had Ruby Ridge, Waco, then the Finicum shooting. But, also this....

I’m disappointed that traitors who are leaking information from inside the Oval Office and other top secret information weren’t hauled away in handcuffs and charged with treason BEFORE the President and First Lady returned to DC.

As a South Carolina resident I can tell you linda has a virtual lock on her senatorial seat.

Because we, unfortunately, have open primaries in SC. During the primary, RATS by the hundreds (thoudands?) cross over and vote for linda. Because SC is a very red state, linda then wins the election easily.

SC needs to get rid of open primaries. A hotly debated issue in the state legislature.
