I will guess that what the state of MD considers to be “proficient” is not exactly advanced, either. This is horrendous. I wonder how many of these students are beyond a 7th grade proficiency at better schools?

One question on the test was who Maya Angelou is. They said he was Mayor in DC who smoked crack.

When slavery was legal, DemocRats made laws against educating slaves. Now they keep them ignorant by trapping them in the worst inner city schools in the nation while opposing school choice. DemocRats accept millions from teachers’ unions whose job it is to keep crappy teachers on the job.
Both men would be utterly disgusted by Blacks today, and by the Democrat party that gleefully keeps Blacks in chains.
Booker T. Washington would be furious about this.
He made it in a day when racism was very much a thriving concept in the United States. He and George Washington Carver accomplished a lot in their day.
These were two very impressive men.
The idea that today kids can’t excel, it’s just infuriating to me and I’m White. Those kids in Baltimore deserve far better than this.
This is outrageous. And what’s more, the Left had complete control. Of that there is very little doubt.
They probably shouldn’t give tests in cursive...it’s so racist.
