We’re now more likely to tell our daughters they can be anything they want to be — an astronaut and a mother, a tomboy and a girlie girl. But we don’t do the same for our sons.
Even as we’ve given girls more choices for the roles they play, boys’ worlds are still confined, social scientists say. They’re discouraged from having interests that are considered feminine. They’re told to be tough at all costs, or else to tamp down their so-called boy energy.
If we want to create an equitable society, one in which everyone can thrive, we need to also give boys more choices. As Gloria Steinem says, “I’m glad we’ve begun to raise our daughters more like our sons, but it will never work until we raise our sons more like our daughters.”
That’s because women’s roles can’t expand if men’s don’t, too. But it’s not just about women. Men are falling behind in school and work because we are not raising boys to succeed in the new, pink economy. Skills like cooperation, empathy and diligence — often considered to be feminine — are increasingly valued in modern-day work and school, and jobs that require these skills are the fastest-growing.

Here is the problem: I like John Wayne more than Don Knotts. My neighbor and I were walking and discussing how we don’t like submissive men. Pleasers. Don’t much care for submissive women either. How about raising people that can think for themselves?
The transgender thing is just a physical manifestation of the weird psychological thing they’ve been doing for decades.
Let’s just pretend that there is no psychological or physical difference between men and women. They are exactly, 100%, the same.

The women responsible for what has been inflicted on boys and men in our society are disgusting harpies who have committed crimes against humanity. Men are men and women are women, with separate but complementary natures and characteristics; they are not interchangeable.
Or that learn the way God thinks? There are some overlaps between what men and women can do, but their general created fortes differ. Vive la difference.

Certainly you cannot teach men to care more by teaching them to be wincing flinching wimps. That is a harpie lie. Men robbed of power have no wherewithal with which to carry out the care. What good would be a Jesus who wept but could not save a soul?

Simple, send him to a public school.
Message to the NY Slimes: My twin grandsons will be raised to be men, good to women, children but ready to accept the challenges of being a man and protecting all that is important to them when necessary and providing for their families as well. You raise your boys to be soft fem metrosexuals and then turn them loose on the world so they can spread their self hate and doubt.

I don’t usually comment unless I read the entire article. This time though, the excerpt is enough to see where this is going . . . and the NYT is unworthy of an internet hit. Liberal stupidity knows no bounds.
