The United States lost almost 60,000 people to the opioid epidemic last year. That's more than in ten years of war in VietNam, way more than in fifteen years of Iraq and Afghanistan.

I’ve talked to people that walked through Afghani poppy fields in full American battle dress.
They didn’t burn them to the ground.
The big problem is the DEA is corrupt. The ATF is corrupt. They’re all corrupt and for the right price they’ll let anything through. The cartels can pay the right price.

Good gawd, after nearly 30 years of lawless illegal invasion of millions, all sponsored by those in government, this guy is suddenly wants to get real tough! I really dislike D.C. politicians. Trump must be disgusted by these people.
It’s just pathetic. If not for Trump, Mr. Cruz wouldn’t even be discussing this. Then he drops a Bush name? Damn...

Um.. our military heroes dying for Mexico? How about build the wall and enforce with shoot on sight? Stop sacrificing American blood and money for countries of animals in charge. The decent folks of any country, well we can’t save them. Are they talking about safe zones? Still no Wall, no troops.

The worst drugs plaguing our nation come straight off the RX pad. But by all means keep this self- destructive war going. After all. You get to fight it from a computer terminal.

You don’t get it. I am with you on legalizing rape, murder, and drugs.
Once those are legal, we have instantly solved many major crimes that plague our country. Cartels will go out of business, people will stop being sexually frustrated and angered, and our population will decrease.

The legality of drugs does not influence the ability to detox someone.

America never fought a war and grabbed territory from Colombia, which has no border with the US. Besides, a border incursion was already tried against Poncho Villa, and it didn’t go well. I’m not against it, but this has to be carefully thought out.

My great-uncle was commissioned a second lieutenant in 1915 for the Mexican punitive expedition. Maybe it’s time for another one.

Ted is spot on. The US Coast Guard has been doing drug interdiction for decades. At the same to,e send them to take the Obama’s and Clinton’s to hell or Gitmo.

And you think weve had great success with stopping murder and rape? Two in three murders get solved. How many drug "crimes" even become known to the authorities ... two in 3,000 maybe?
