A B-1b flying at 50,000 ft can do more damage with precision weapons...to precise targets on the ground...than a squadron of A-10’s.

Armor, vehicles, reinforced emplacements...none out of reach for destruction. Especially when using CBUs.

So if there are six enemy tanks you think it would be more efficient to send a B1 than a A-10!!!

It would. But what if my Marine is 50 yards from the guy shooting at him?

By the time the B1B got there the firefight would be over.

Dream on. A B-1 is an astonishingly bad choice for support of ground troops.

And how many sorties a day can a B-1b fly from 2000 miles away?
