Honestly, I'm not sure what they think, but this latest shooting shows why the progressives want gun control.

As this latest shooting reveals, along with the many, many other acts of violence in print and reality throughout recent history and especially since Trump was elected, they know, with a core-level understanding, what evil lurks in the hearts of their fellow progressives.
