President Trump has every right to be furious about this investigation; Mueller off to bad start

President Trump has every right to scream loudly about this investigation.  I have never seen anything like this since Patrick Fitzgerald went all over the Milky Way looking for someone to indict about anything.

As for Mr. Comey, it looks for sure as if he had been leaking for months to promote himself at Mr. Trump's expense.

So – exactly what are we investigating again?

First, there is no evidence of any collusion with Russia.  Frankly, the idea that Russia impacted our vote is so absurd that it makes me angry that anyone is even peddling the idea.  By the way, I am not taking Russia or Putin off the hook.  They are and have been adversaries for a long time.  They probably have tried to destabilized our system many times.  However, I am not blaming Putin for getting millions of Obama's 2012 voters to switch to Trump in 2016.

Second, the appointment of independent counsel seemed like a good idea a couple of weeks ago.  Unfortunately, leaks and the hiring of Clintonistas is troubling.  Couldn't Mr. Mueller find attorneys in the U.S. who did not donate to the Democratic Party?

Third, all of this stuff about "obstruction of justice" is crazy.

I like what James Freeman wrote in the Wall Street Journal

As for the idea that Mr. Trump might have obstructed justice, Andy McCarthy and Alan Dershowitz and Michael McConnell have separately explained why this is a big stretch, and Richard Epstein makes the case that if anyone in this drama is vulnerable to a possible obstruction charge, it's Mr. Comey.

But whatever one believes about the President, the Post reports make Mr. Mueller's team look like political hacks focused on providing inappropriate leaks from an investigation just barely in progress,

Trump needs to personally hire his own assistant investigators to watch over Robert Mueller and team.

This is a Witch Hunt with a pre-determined outcome. It’s a travesty, to say the least.

Where are the Republicans? They are twiddling their thumbs. Bastards.

Mueller OFF TO A BAD START

Watching Mueller build his empire and hire his multi-million dollar staff reminds of a local guy I watched open an engineering/consulting business.

He leased a building, purchased and leased office furniture and equipment, computers, large format printers, etc.

Then he hired a staff and opened the doors for business.

The only things he didn’t have were customers and contracts.

He was gone in no time at all.

But then he didn’t have taxpayers paying the bills.

if hacking our election system is such a concern, why has no talking head yet proposed getting rid of our electronic vote and vote counting machine system? No one can hack a paper ballot. The US needs to immediately adopt the Israeli voting system, it is as fraud proof as it can be.

Mueller has hired cronies. That alone is grounds for dismissal of this Kangaroo Court.

Democrats don't want to eliminate the capability to hack our voting system.

They just want to stop anyone else from being able to hack the vote.

A Syrian warplane wouldn’t have been shot down if the Russians had information they could provide that would harm Trump.

Mueller shouldn’t expect anything from the Russians except complaints and the official Russian line about Syria.

Mueller will get nothing from Flynn except for the name and phone number of Flynn’s lawyer.

you are correct, but the question still needs to be asked by the MSM and on air. They know the subject will blow up in their faces. Some good patriot that sees TV face time on the MSM needs to ignite the subject.

Ditto with someone I knew. Added to the house for office space, installed phone lines, fancy furniture, etc. After nothing, got a decent contract about 1 month after he died of a heart attack.

“They probably have tried to destabilized our system many times.”

The Russians were just spying.

It’s what Russians working for the KGB do.

Putin I’m pretty sure likes to be well-informed.

The Russians surely know Hillary can be belligerent, so they probably felt they really needed to find out as much as they could about what she might do.

“Mueller off to a bad start.”

Watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.

Wait, I have no hat and I have no rabbit.

Chit-chatting with the Russians is no crime, so Mueller has no case.

You may think it’s all a waste of money, but the Democrats are raking in millions of dollars of political donations.

Trump threatens their gravy train, their reaching across the aisle, their collusion regarding insider trading on Wall Street and the Uniparty lockstepping to the drumbeat of Globalism on the backs of the uneducated, low class, cheap labor promise of "migrants" from Islam
