Posted on 06/19/2017 9:06:21 PM PDT by Vendome
H David Eubank is a former Special Forces Operative turned aid worker. The 56 year old veterans Free Burma Rangers aid organization has been in Mosul, Iraq fighting ISIS. He previously was in the military free fall team with the First Special Forces Group, so he is skilled in combat unlike most aid workers. So, when ISIS was firing upon civilians and he saw a little girl about 150 feet away from him, he sprang into action to rescue her.
As you can see in the tweeted video below, Eubank is donning only a helmet and a bulletproof vest. He is receiving cover by some soldiers, but he runs right into the gunfire to save this girls life.

Wow...if you look in the dictionary under the word “cajones”, this guy’s picture would be there. Incredible.
Noticed his left arm already had a bandage on it.
That’s because we grow REAL MEN, not cowards/savages who either butcher civilians or use them as human shields.
The man is a real hero.
God smiles on him.
There’s another link at the link to the LATimes article this was sourced from.
It gives a lot more detail about the man, and even mentions the fact that he’s a Christian.
How that one slipped though the cracks is beyond me.
Same link, it just wasn’t clickable. Red makes it so.
All I can say is what a hero!!
He is a Texas A&M Aggie, Class of 1983! Whoop!

” Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
John 15:13 (KJV)
More info. on the organization he and his wife are working with (volunteering?):
Your neck of the woods.
He was also in 2nd Ranger Battalion before going to Special Forces. He was in a different Company than me in 2/75, but had a great reputation as a Platoon Leader.
