We might have to camp outside the GOP SENATE and HOUSE offices until they get the message...

We DEPLORABLES are ticked off. Get with the program NOW.

-—”This is a good example of what can happen when Republicans and Democrats work toward the same goal,”-—

Yup - Democrats and Republicans have been working toward the same goal since at least 1989.

“The congress and Senate are ran by lobbyists...”

When the opposition is willing to spend 30-40 MILLION DOLLARS for single house race, is it any wonder why?

“So, WHY don’t the Republicans just vote on it? “

Wouldn’t get 60 votes in the Senate.

While I would normally agree with this type of legislation, as General Aviation Pilot I am seriously opposed to the privatization of ATC. The airlines are lobbying heavily for this move and hoping that with passage the cost of ATC would be transferred from the airlines (who are the BIGGEST users of the system) to the little guy in the mix in the form of “User Fees.” It will kill General Aviation and possibly some Corporate Aviation similar to what has happened in Europe. To go do two touch and goes at my towered airfield for proficiency reasons could possibly cost me over $100 in fees on top of my normal fuel and maintenance costs. Just to take off on a trip by requesting mandatory clearance to taxi and then take off could cost possibly the same $100 or more and then to land at destination the same. Will those fees improve my interaction with ATC....NO. Controls on how the governmental agency spends their budget for equipment upgrades and punishing the current agency for not obtaining the best deals would be a better way to handle the re-authorization...unfortunately the career bureaucrats can’t seem to get that done.

"This is a good example of what can happen when Republicans and Democrats work toward the same goal," to panel's top Democrat, Sen. Bill Nelson of Florida, said.
Yeah, Bill -- the rats get what they want and the Republicans don't, as per usual.

Buy your strict interpretation of the Constitution I take it that you’re in favor of having Flintlock muskets under the Second Amendment. Right? As technology changes the Constitution doesn’t necessarily have to.

No, its an example of what happens when we have a bunch of spineless, corrupt RINO's in the Senate.

This iteration of the bill was still not anywhere close to what was being discussed during the campaign. It was just Obamacare again.
