Hannity calls former Fox darling out by name over fake news: ‘Are you proud, Megyn?’

“Are you proud, Megyn?”

Fox News host Sean Hannity exposed the two individuals most responsible for churning out anti-Trump propaganda — the presidents of CNN and NBC News — and by extension, former Fox News personality Megyn Kelly.

He began his Friday night “mini-monologue” by referring to CNN President Jeff Zucker and NBC News/MSNBC Chairman Andy Lack as the “fake news chiefs” and the architects of the “Destroy Trump Media,” and then played clips of specific instances of their over-the-top, unhinged reporting.

On the CNN side, those clips included Jim Acosta, Jeffrey Toobin, Brooke Baldwin, Anderson Cooper, Gloria Borger, and Van Jones. On the MSNBC side, Hannity showed his viewers snippets from Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, Chris Matthews, Lawrence O’Donnell, and Rachel Maddow.

After playing the NBC montage he asked Lack, “Andy, are you proud of that kind of reporting?” before asking the same of specific NBC personalities.

“Tom Brokaw, are you proud of that?” he asked. “My former colleague Megyn Kelly … are you proud, Megyn? Are you proud Matt Lauer?”

I love Hannity. He and his courage are quite underrated. Hardest worker for conservatism in the public eye, and he puts his well being and career ON THE LINE for us. No one else would.

Very well said.

There’s not any more criticism of Hannity here on FR these days.

Megyn, your ‘big brother’ has been talking about you, and he is not at all happy with your latest capers.

Hannity should talk. He used to be good, now he and Rachel Maddow are gradually becoming the same person. They sure do look alike.

How so. I watch Hannity occasionally, but never Maddow.

I don’t watch either of them. But I used to listen to him on the radio starting in 1997, and sometimes on TV. Somewhere along the way, he lost all his wit and soul.

Of course they’re proud. They’ll do whatever it takes to continue to fill the DC swamp for their own benefit.

Sean Hannity has never been better.

He’s just now hitting his stride.

You’re entitled to your opinion, but obviously, your opinion is junk.

I’d like Hannity a lot more if he’d quit turning every issue into a way to talk about himself. Listen to him on radio and TV and check out how many times he turns everything into “I and Me”.

Sorry, Hannity used to be sharp and funny. In the mid-2000s he became a tepid, dull RINO. Listen to a Hannity now vs. then.

For someone who fights so hard for Trump he still gives a platform to a lot of #NeverTrumpers who should be shunned for trying to destroy him when he was a candidate.

I remember Hannity in his early days doing overnight radio in NYC. He’s OK now, but he was really at his best 20 years ago when hardly anyone outside New York knew him.

I’ve never liked his radio show. It was always too safe.

i stopped listening to him because he was the “butt boy” of the RNC and then Trump helped him grow a pair and he’s a joy to listen to again.

Before the “deep state” was being exposed, Hannity played the only cards he could find from his “help” at FoxNews. He relied heavily on the producers, which most hosts did.

When the age of Trump came along and by his way of calling out people, he exposed the entire establishment and Hannity was right there on the personal phone list of the Trumpinator.

I will agree with onyx that you have old opinions that I will even admit that I had attained by the wimpish approach he exhibited. But, I can tell you that those days are past.

The only critique that he needs to listen to is to get rid of those “strategist vs. strategist” stupid sound bite segments that serve nobody with at least two brain cells to rub together. Essentially, get away from that garbage and focus on an issue with one person, kinda like Tucker does.
