I think this is a send-up, a joke. There are no “secret buttons” on an iPhone.
Who knew that if you used a 2.1 amp charger power supply instead of a 1 amp unit, your iPhone will charge faster? Amazing!
Is it really serious? I got a good chuckle out of it.
It’s always interesting to start asking some of these tech geeks just how stuff in the phone actually works, things like which modulation system is used, what is the error detection/correction, how does the phone know what to do when a finger is placed on a certain place on the screen, etc. Blank stares.
Not much intelligence there, but they really think they know tech.

Yes there are some but they are SECRET! That’s why you didn’t see any. The “expert” was only trying to help you find it and use it. However, it probably was too “secret” to see by anyone who is simply a novice at cell phones. You have to be an “expert” like him to find it. It does not show for regular owners of the phone...just geek experts like him have the special vision to see it. Kind of like a magic decoder ring huh?
